Transformers Generations Collaborative: G.I. Joe Mash-Up, Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank with Cobra Baroness Figure, Ages 8 and Up
Transformers robots have always been — More Than Meets the Eye — but now, through the Transformers Collaborative, fans can experience these larger than life characters as they team-up, mash-up, and meet up with other characters, teams, and people who share this same special quality. Worlds collide in this Transformers-G.I. Joe mash-up pack! The Decepticons and Cobra team up to conquer the world! Baroness and Megatron, disguised as a H.I.S.S. Tank, plan the next Cobra attack. The Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank toy converts from robot to tank mode in 28 steps and comes with G.I. Joe Retro Baroness figure. Both figures feature deco and details based on the worlds of Transformers and G.I. Joe. Includes fusion cannon, backpack, and weapon accessories. Accurate scale to the 1983 H.I.S.S. Tank toy. Display Baroness figure at the turret and in the H.I.S.S. tank vehicle mode. Packaging is inspired by a mash-up of the classic ’80s toys with retro artwork. Baroness toy comes on a card back with file card.

That is pretty cool.

I do like that he can use core class Decepticons as crew:

Transformers X GI Joe Crossover Megatron HISS Tank With Baroness
Huktonfonix
It’s more the sheer size of it. In order to scale it, it would probably have to be at least 2 feet long. The original rolling thunder was huge. The TFC one did do a good job of the main cab prime and partsforming the rest for upsizing to a bigger bot.

I love this guy. Huge, great feel, love the transformation. Sold Baroness to make some money back.

Easy. The front is detachable like OP, the back becomes a weapons platform. It would be in the same scale as Megs and Bee.

Check out TFCs excellent take on this concept. I don’t know how they would do this mainline unless it’s titan class size.

Now they need to do an Optimus cross over… I would like to propose the following…
Rolling Thunder with Duke.

I don't think anyone would buy that unless they really really want an O-ring Baroness

If somebody put Megatron in a Cobra display next to a bunch of other HISS Tanks when he was in vehicle mode, I think he’d blend in pretty well. The altmode does a good job of updating the original toy while adding new details on it (the visible block of grey and the fusion cannon) that don’t feel out of place. The real problem, IMO, is that Megatron’s robot mode makes no attempt to integrate his color scheme with that of the HISS. Instead of looking like one of the hybrid designs I loved from G.I. Joe vs TF, he ends up looking like a robot wearing parts of a HISS Tank as armor. So close, yet so far. Maybe Soundwave will be slightly better now that they’ve had 2 attempts to figure out the merged TF/Joe vehicle designs in this crossover line.

Has anyone been able to sell the Baroness still MOSC to make up what you spent on this? I'm still hemming and hawing on this
IgnikaMarcus
By making it Megatron.
If they did, I'd rather they do HISS Tank Optimus.
Xero Prime
Thank you! That's pretty spot on.

Does anyone have pics comparing the hiss mode to any of the vintage toys? I couldn't find any.
Thanks.

I wonder if Hasbro would ever do a Crossover HasLab. Like, a Classified Scale HISS Tank (no electronics) that turns in to Megatron.

I understand wishing they put more effort in, but a Hisstank costs about $45. This thing is $90. Love it or hate it the price is fair. It's not a masterpiece. If it were MP quality it would cost minimum $300.
Hail Galvatron
Well, I had in my budget now enough for either this or the Viper three-pack. I think I'll get the three-pack.
