ABOUT THIS DESIGNER COLLECTIBLE STATUE
Autobots, paint roller out! The Optimus Prime Designer Collectible Statue by artist Sket One shows an iconic Transformers hero ready to blast some color at the morally gray Decepticons.
Artist Statement:
“My graffiti-inspired design reimagines the Autobots leader as a paint warrior with modified spray-nozzle blaster, paint roller staff, prime respirator, and more. The toy transforms the character from truck to train with a torso design based on the classic Redbird NYC subway trains. Covered in dripping paint, I wanted to work several fun details into the piece including spray can holders and paint trays integrated into the Transformer’s legs and the classic graffiti “throw-up” on the windows.
About the Artist:
Sket One, painter, illustrator, and designer, began his career as a graffiti artist in the ’80s. In 2003 he started designing vinyl toys for toymakers such as Kidrobot, Red Magic, IamRetro, and more. Sket One has succeeded in exhibiting his custom resin work and canvases both nationally and internationally in various galleries. Having a passion for uniting distinct components of pop culture into pieces of art that are startlingly cohesive and original has led him to work with Facebook, CBS, Universal Music, EMI, DC Comics, Ford, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Warner Bros., Zoo York Skateboards, and more.

ABOUT THIS DESIGNER COLLECTIBLE STATUE
This beat is buzzing! Put on your sneakers and crank up your speakers with the Bumblebee Designer Collectible Statue by artist kaNO, a Transformers-themed tribute to an audio-loving Autobot.
About the Artist:
Born and raised on the streets of New York City, kaNO discovered art at a very early age. The graffiti on the walls and the cartoons on the TV set the tone for a creative childhood.
In true city kid fashion, kaNO graduated from the High School of Art & Design and went on to obtain a BFA in Animation at the School of Visual Arts in 1999. From the silver screen to galleries and even onto toy shelves across the world, kaNO’s style is distinctly recognizable as his own. As his creative pursuits expand so does his ever growing list of clients and exhibitions.
In 2010, kaNO moved out to Los Angeles with his family, where he freelances as a character designer for such studios as Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, and Hasbro. When he’s not making cartoons, you can find him working on paintings, commissions, and designing product for his brand ‘kaNO kid’ at his art studio in Burbank, CA.

Ravage Stanixa
I imagine you are!
Ravage's tags were acts of protest against the corrupt functionist government that was killing and brutalising people like Ravage. I think they're great! <3 <3 <3
I am guessing we haven't interacted much before. My username is Ravage Stanixa (aka Ravage of Stanix) and my icon is a picture of Ravage and Soundwave smooching which is captioned "My Spark belongs to the TRUE Perfect Decepticon."
I like graffiti–if it's actually well done, expressive street art, and not just twelve year olds of all ages drawing genitals on any available blank space.
I also really, really like Decepticons. Especially Soundwave and Ravage.

So you quote my post about graffiti and vandalism with a cynical response then you go on to state you wish the graffiti artist Prime was actually Ravage because you enjoy the fact that Ravage was arrested several times in the IDW cannon for illegal graffiti.
Am I the only one who sees the irony here?
Ravage Stanixa
… seriously?
Stuff for the sake of stuff is kind of what collectibles are, dude. They're not particularly useful. They're toys–expensive toys for adults to look at and fiddle with. Stuff for the sake of stuff. People who make collectibles are trying to make stuff that people with disposable income will want.
Those were by Quiccs, and they were better than these. I really wanted the Soundwave one. It was the bomb, but they were just busts and not full on figures.
I was kind of sad that the graffiti artist wasn't Ravage, who in IDW was canonically arrested multiple times for graffiti. On the other hand the designs (especially Soundwave) were kind of strongly Cyberverse influenced them. View attachment 29414982

These look like something that will sit on clearance at BBTS for 10-15 years.

EVERYBODY LOOK, IT'S JAMALBEE
Wafer
I like the Optimus one a lot, gives me Jet Set Radio vibes
THE-TRANSFORMER
I hate to say it…. but that is pretty much everything Transformers. Including the mainline toys.
I really like the Bee. Would like it more if he wasn't a rapper. Still, it's a neat design. Might get that one.
While I don't mind the Prime, he doesn't have the same charm.
Requiem Prime
Same as those busts another artist made a bit back. Thew showed off a couple. Bumblebee was still a rapper (guess that\'s his edgy urban thing) and Megatron was the graffiti artist, which would play of Optimus so well. No fighting, just painting over each other\'s work.
Afterburner
Stuff for the sake of stuff. Yikes it's so easy to create anything haphazardly for market.
B’Bantor
If you know this guy soley as "Snake" from Karate Kid 3 then chances are these are not for you.

Hobbes-timus Prime
There are plenty of professional graffiti artists who paint spaces they've been hired to work on, and therefore it isn't vandalism. The artform itself isn't a crime.
SamuraiX
I think you forgot to add blue text, it helps to make a joke/sarcasm easier to identify
yovnocrats
That Bee has some serious Fred Durst vibes.
Autobots, transform and keep rollin rollin rollin rollin
NormanB
Great execution of a concept that is clearly not for my demo.
