Third party company Newage Toys have revealed, via their Facebook account, images of their new H27T David (Legends Scale Optimus Prime) clear version.
This is a special clear plastic release of Newage’s H27 David (Legends Scale G1 Optimus Prime). All weapons and extra parts (except the Matrix) are now molded in clear plastic, even the trailer and Roller. A very nice addition to the rest of H27 David variants.
See all the images after the jump and then let us know your impressions on these new Legends scale figures on the 2005 Boards!

Short answer: No, not unless they reissue.

Unfortunately, Slaughter came out before even David itself – using the inner "magnus" body with a new chest that would eventually become the first release of David, who spotted new legs that were more posable/ with more advanced tech like split hipskirts. Along the line, David got double elbows and backwards butterfly with his Marvel, Metallic, and Weathered repaints, and was then reissued with double elbows and backwards butterfly in both the regular toon iteration and the EX toy version, as well as a holographic blue that came with the ark.
the mold history is as follows:
H28 Octavian: First debut, features Magnus chest, Magnus legs
H27B Famine/H27P Slaughter: Intermediate, David chest, Magnus legs
H27 David – (a gajillion repaints) – H27X Tromo: David chest, David legs
H27M/H27C/H27Z: David, but with new arms and backwards butterfly
H27/H27EX Reissue: David, but with new arms and backwards butterfly, toon ver comes with new alt heads as well
H27H: David, but with new arms and backwards butterfly, pre-order bonus with ark set, clear blue plastic
(also of note is the magnus reissues + EX got the backwards butterfly as well but bc of the armor transformation physically cannot use the double elbow tooling)
edit: (also forgot to mention that slaugther, famine, and tromo all use a unique head and smokestacks that are meant to look more "evil")

forgive me for being annoying and not giving you answers, i was curious if you or anyone had heard about a version of newage slaughter with those double hinged elbows, since I'm not seeing any that have them
Mechman42
Yeah, the extra panel on top is just as offensive as the gap it's covering. I like the GoBetter one more.
TIKnTIN
yup, that's the one that looked terrible.
SWAGE66
Aren't those parts gonna scuff the edges, though?
magicube
Supermake released something similar but it was one piece that fit over the top of the chest to cover the seam between the two windows:

Resin printed, but near impossible to spot the layer lines.

this looks pretty good. but wasn't their another earlier version released prior to this that wasn't nearly as good?
3D printed.
FredVIII
That actually looks pretty darn good! Is GoBetter's stuff 3D-printed or injection molded?
GT2
Isn't 'dead Prime' supposed to have some holes in his chest?
Destron1
Gimme one for dead Prime!

GoBetter is releasing a chest filler kit for Optimus Prime:

You know, it's bizarre that we never got a G2 or Pepsi trailer from NewAge.
Snaku
But will it fit Sideswipe?
eMouse
This will be awesome for my 27F David!
Wait…

That’s a predicament that Newage put themselves in lol. They just as easily could have retooled the jetpack to fit the Optimus tooling instead of inexplicably only releasing it for a version that has no context for it.
Mechman42
To be fair to Newage, their jetpack is incompatible with standard Davids, it attaches via an extra 3mm port on the back.
magicube
Since Newage is apparently reluctant to release the jetpack they sold with SG Optimus, GoBetter is releasing their own. Attaches via magnets and is blast effect compatible:
