Annoying that Ravage wasn't released the same time as Soundwave…and that Ravage comes with Soundwave's gun tip.
Went to a local Walmart a few days ago and they had 9 of them on the shelves.
Gee Won 1984
Another pic of the best Live Action Movie Soundwave to hit the screen. Hopefully I'll find his toy in store one day.
Smasher
I didn't remember he was added.
Am I incorrect in the recollection that at first they were like "Good news! You can buy your own Black Series Rancor keeper from your favorite retailer!"?
It just really struck me as odd that Hasbro would hit all the right chords with Victory Saber and then offer an overpriced Rancor with bones, cardboard, and figures people already had as incentives.
I still kinda wish it got made because I know a lot of people really wanted it -and it did look good.
However, I hope Hasbro learned a lesson for future crowdfunding endeavors.
T-Hybrid
Hasbro added the Keeper to the project, at which point people who complained shifted to claiming it was "too late" and they still wouldn't back it.
Smasher
Of course. And Sparkplug! And maybe a Requiem Blaster and Star Saber as tier unlocks.
But I think you're making a joke that Hasbro didn't include the Rancor Keeper in with their $360 Rancor HasLab project but instead thought fans would be happy that they could buy him separately.
Banannixx
You guys mean that the trailer is included in that pricepoint, right?
T-Hybrid
…Ravage has never turned in to anything. Even when he turned in to tapes it was just him turning in to a different kind of rectangle.
Same as TR, same as the "data discs" from the WfC video game line.
People say that about every HasLab, though.
DarkEyes
Armada Prime as HasLab project would be AMAZING!
Smasher
Yah. I don't have anything to go by, but I could see it happen.
I just hope they don't price gouge like they did with the Rancor and the SkyStriker.
I don't think there was any reason for either of those to be that much.
TargetmasterJoe
Don’t give me hope.
(I half-jest, but I would back a hypothetical HasLab Armada Optimus on day one too.)
Smasher
I know that Ravage had no on screen alt-mode and the only prerequisite was "fit in Soundwave's chest", but it would be nice if he turned into something.
I could see Armada Optimus being the next HasLab Transformers project.
And if they kept in the same price range as Victory Saber I'd gladly back it.
TargetmasterJoe
What I'd give for these Figure King magazines to throw some teases about Armada Optimus Prime. (He said while tuning out the fact that the guy's probably deader than dead by now.)
