Safe test run.

For a quick second, I thought XTB was joining the 3P MP seeker race.
mikequillm
Probably more repaints

Wait, when you say there are upcoming figures to finish up ALL robots does that mean more than just the Seekers? You've got me imagining MB-3 through MB-100 coming later on with a whole range of 5cm robots. Megatron, Optimus, etc., etc, etc.
Or do you mean they're just planning on all the Seekers?
Dpuff
So they are still random?
Grifter Prime
MB means Mysterious Box Series
robots stand 5cm tall
made by PVC and posable!
What's inside the box:
-PVC figure*6
-bio card*6
-Combinable base/stand*6
-Clear stand*6
Features of MB-01:
-Arms posable
-Elbow bends
-Waist rotates
-Feet posable
-Elbow posable
-Display bases can combine to form evil fraction's headquarter floors
-Display bases can combine to form size chart walls.
-Fully paintedView attachment 29360442
so the Clear version is very limited.
-All 6 pcs were packaged into the same individual small box and then pack all into a bigger box.
-More upcoming figures to finish up the ALL robots

What exactly does "all in" mean, particularly in this instance? Are you going to put all your toy/collectable budget into buying these things?
Are you getting multiple sets until you have a complete set of 12 figures (+ 2 clear versions, maybe)? How many sets would be considered "all in"?
Curium
You are completely correct, which is why reason won out in the end and I didn't do it. Does not change my initial reaction though.
DrCalligari
I would have loved if these were $5 a piece and I could use them to get "over the hump" to get to whatever the free shipping amount is on an order. As-is I'm out but I'll keep my eyes peeled for a clearance sale.

Plus it could be fun trading duplicates with other collectors like I used to with my friends back in the day. Used to collect alot of movie trading cards in the 70s & 80s. If someone had 2 of the same card that I needed(and vice versa), we would just trade.
mikequillm
It's like TF Earth Wars
SquishyOH
Agreed. If someone gets six Ramjets in an assortment there will be a scandal. If I get one or two duplicates it won't be the end of the world.
There are 12 common and 2 chase figures. Go into this knowing you'll never complete the set and it could be fun. Maybe I'll finally get a 5cm Starscream to go with my Zeta Bruticon set.
Dpuff
So a 1 in 100 chance to get the one without paint. Anyone here planning to spend 6 grand on these if you dont get it the first 99 times?
chuckcjc
Oh boy it crossed your mind.
Little Dutch
And you can even get duplicates in the same box. Knowing my luck I will get four of the same.
mikequillm
Are the figures worth it? Yeah. If I knew what I was buying. I don't play lottery
Jersey_Steel
That would just be foolish. That would be like swearing off mainline transformers because of their kid friendly transformers
SquishyOH
$10 mini-figs? Sure, I'll give these a try. How addicting could they be?
Curium
I truly loathe blind box. After a moment to calm down I won't actually do it, but the idea of cancelling every XTB/KFC pre-order just because they took this route did cross my mind.
geekatron prime
Considering most officially licensed blind box collectible items are in the $10-$15 range. It's actually pretty comparable in price.
