Hasbro Pulse website have updated some images and information about the necessary tools to create all the pieces for both Star Saber and Victory Leo.
“As you can see from these images, the tools for Victory Saber are being prepped. Tools are giant slabs of steel, sculpted with laser etching to cut piece cavities in the molds. At this point in the process, tools will be polished and cleaned in order to make sure all of the pieces come out of the molds intact.
When we lay out molds, we group by what colors each piece is needed to be molded in. The mold pictured is for one of the red molds, and all of these red pieces will be part of the V-Star Jet, Autobot Saber, and the merged Star Saber figure.”

I'm starting to wonder if I actually did get a replacement copy of VS, because it didn't have that plastic covering the chest. The date code of product in my second copy is 22271, so maybe that's a clue that I got one from the initial batch?
In any case, I'm seriously thinking about cutting my losses and just ask for a refund. Because if my second copy had stress marks in a critical area of Autobot Saber, then how can I expect a third copy to have any fixes?
(Although it's a real disappointment because A, I spent a lot on these two, and B, Deathsaurus should be coming before the end of the year and where's the fun in having a villain if you don't have his nemesis, the hero?)

I messaged Eb games today(aussie supplier of DZ) about any updates as autumn(our spring) was now around halfway, They've heard nothing since original release (I got a support guy with one on order so he was pretty up to date I reckon), and are still holding onto December as a likely shipping date. Maybe I'll pull the same crazy shit like last year with Star saber and have him arrive on my birthday!

Well one of the bottom tabs on my VS's sword did break off but that's only because of my carelessness.

I think it was certain figures that had QC issues like having the same left arm in Sabers form or just other small issues. So I actually have two VS and one of them actually had issues with Leo, his lower jaw on mine broke and the sword blade for VS snapped. So I sent my damaged one back and got the replacement one that hasbro sent out about two months back however that one I didn’t open since I left that in box but just wanted to see if anyone who has the replacement copy what was improved

So I am curious to anyone who has the VS replacement that has the improved QC is there anything you notice that’s different or that has been improved since the initial release of VS. I’m sure someone has already explained it but I really don’t want to go through all the comments haha

Oddly enough, I’ll want an extra Pipo and Boater to paint as Fixit and Seawatch.. not sure if it’d be easier to buy them from someone who doesn’t want them or get an extra Deathsaurus (which I have on order) and sell off everything but the Micromasters… With the former, I’d have to get someone who will just sell them cheap. The latter I’d probably MAKE money since Deathy would likely sell for higher than what I paid.

If you’re willing to pay 220 or 230, just pony up the extra 20 or $30. You can find them for 250 still. They’re not going to get any cheaper. I have an extra one sealed but I am sitting on it until DZ comes out to see if anybody is willing to pay the late fee to jump in on the action.

Totally agree with the new face. I didn't even bother to use it. Looks terrible. My VS has got the Toyhax stickers appied, they are good quality a look even better than the original chrome.

I quite like the DNA kit. The replacement face is kind of useless, though, and the stickers included are so low quality they scratched just from me applying them.
