Via their Weibo account, third party company Transform Dream Wave have revealed their new TCW-10-W Generation Selects God Neptune upgrade kit.
This is a redeco of Transform Dream Wave TCW-10 upgrade kit for Generations Selects King Poseidon to match the colors of the new Generations Selects God Neptune. This kit includes high covers for combined mode, an all new torso chest piece, a new head, toe pieces, a new sword, elbow support pieces, and a few smaller pieces to support other joints.
See the images after the break and then let us know your impression on this kit on the 2005 Boards!

Anyone know could this kit fit on Hun-Gurr?

I did have to do a scramble city style Piranacon as i am still hunting the other three seacons. The Feet and thighs are good. The bicepView attachment 29411205 supports do add some needed support to hold swords or guns.
First time getting TWD kits. are you supposed to remove the arm support every time you want to transform the individual bots?

I had to modify my Abominus kit to make it work, hard to defend that.
I can personally vouch for their Computron upgrade set though, that thing works fantastically.

I bought the abominus kit and while it did have some easily remedied tolerance issues, it transformed the figure from something dumpy that couldn't stand on it's own into a more sturdy unit that could actually pull off some decent poses. I have been waiting on this kit to come out in order to pull the trigger on the generations god neptune, the only 2 minor complaints I have are that I think the original head looks better and I'm going to have to add some gold paint down the center of the lower chest piece to get the look right.

The upgrade kit for the original deco!
Of course.
Ooops.

$50 for that? Imma pass, too, and hope we see better.

Yeah I have both of there defensor and abominus kits. I can accept quality issues when a company is first starting out. I do think there kits look great and kudos to the designer but plz listen to the people who buy your stuff and fix issues with your product. Ok my rants over I do wish DNA did upgrades for Combiner wars but I'm sure that would stretch there designer to thin and he does a fantastic job already
ziltama
As with the King Poseidon kit, this actually makes the figure look worse.
Both Seacon sets are flippy floppy messes and the extra weight isn't gonna help.
The stock hands also can't support the weapon weight.

Someone posted a pic on the other upgrade thread but you basically slide off the lower waist of the limb bots and slide it onto a new mushroom peg of the upgrade part.
T-Hybrid
They were referring to the upgrade kit.

Yeah I'm also still waiting on more info as to how this set works.
Dark Starscream
TDW,
The combiners that are most in need of new chests are Orthia and Megascream. I would quickly buy them up, please and thank you.

All of that white plastic kind of washes out the details on the original.
I don't see the point in making the chest piece even larger, and then reducing the size of the accent color parts.
To me, that has the opposite effect -not an improvement at all.
And, am I seeing this right?
They just made a giant sword, but it doesn't split into individual weapons?
I've had my God Neptune for months.
It's back in stock at Pulse and a few other places online, too.

wait… what about king poseidon??
rhodium1977
As far as I know, no. I'm still waiting for mine on the original design through TFSource
NemesisNerd
Does the new feet still require the ugly hands as ankle support?
Spyne98
I got their Abominus set, and it was AWFUL. I'll never buy from that company again. The pegs were so large that they stretched the hand/foot ports on my figures and now they can't fit the original parts. I'm staying away.
phoenixliger
God I wish this was DNA designs. Dw quality us abysmal. looks great but sucks
Requiem Prime
Are the arm robots still intact with those elbow pieces? I can\'t tell from this or the seacon set.
Hyoumaru
Huh? Wait did the original deco version ever actually get released though?
