The official Hasbro Pulse social media channels have uploaded a new Transformers “10000 Pardons, But You Mean Bombshell, Right?” stop motion video.
This clip was originally shown during the recent 35th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie in-theater showings together with the previously uploaded “Discontinued? What do you mean I’m being discontinued?” and “Are You Kidding Me? You Dropped The Matrix!” videos. This time we have funny chat with Studio Series Scourge and the Sweeps about a classic discussion about who was transformed by Unicron. As usual, pay attention to the voice cast:
- John Moshita as Scourge.
- Gregg Berger as Sweep 1.
- Travis Ryan as Sweep 2.
- Francis Ausley as Sweep 3.
Be sure to watch this animation after the break and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

I’ve always subscribed to toy-logic as well!

The last shit i took was better than the recent trilogy
Illiterate Scholar
That was amazing! I agree with everyone that says the voice acting is better than the recent trilogy.

When it comes to who became who i just go by simple "toy-logic" Skywarp and Thundercracker were replaced in the 1986 toy catalog's Decepticon Jets section by Cyclonus and Scourge while the Insecticons still appeared in the same 1986 toy catalog

These little shorts have been pretty amusing.

What if? indeed….
It's also canon to Flint Dille.

Which, of course, led to the oddity in Marvel UK that Cyclonus was recreated out of a Decepticon actually named "Life Spark."
Thundershot
Jesus Christ. That line wasn’t the point. The Vehicon part was. Editing my reply because the offhand spark comment is what everyone is clinging to instead of the actual addition to the conversation.
Skrunklemin
This was fantastic! More please

I honestly think it doesn’t matter who became who. I’m pretty sure they were dead by the time Unicron got to them. They were corpses. Space junk.
SPLIT LIP
They actually kind of did, at least in one of the earlier scripts where the new Decepticons were created from the “life sparks” of previously fallen ancient warriors.
Thundershot
Well… sparks as we know them now. Anyway the point was I think of them like those three Vehicons. Same spark. Different character. Potential, with tampering, to find the old character should someone actually care enough to try.

Kinda……..Laser core. According to Megs that is.
Thundershot
We’ve had 25 years of ideas since the movie. My take is that Thundercracker and Skywarp’s sparks are put into new bodies similar to how Rhinox, Silverbolt, and Waspinator became Tankor, Jetstorm, and Thrust.

Wish Soundwave Oblivion has the translated tech spec of the latest MP-52+ TC.
A sliver, Fire in the Mountain.

Of course character development is not a bad thing, but developing Scourge in that specific direction will only fuel the belief that Thundercracker is still in there somewhere. I suppose if done well, it could be interesting, this conversation was had in another thread not too long ago regarding Cyclonus and Scourge's Sparks: do they have Sparks at all, and if so, where did they come from?

Alternative Theory: Unicron caught Bombshell before he could defect and punished him by turning him into a Sweep.
Foster
Makes perfect sense that Bombshell would nope out of Galvatron's forces at the first opportunity! I'll go one better and assert that with his cerebro-shell expertise, he was uniquely qualified to disable Unicron's control over him so he could defect!
