Awesome! Happy to hear you had a great time. I recall my 1st BotCon (97) was just magical. Then the early TFcons, too!
Thanks for sharing your experience!

Oops! Just did my homework and Action Masters Elite were simple Transforming Action Masters.
So Windmill is not in Robot mode, but actually in Helicopter mode!
So the packaging has a few periferal parts folded in to fit, plus his head mis-Transformed (rotated to face us, lol!)
Good detective work, TBS, seems some of his package bubles were attached upside down.

I'm so happy I finally got the courage to get everything together and go this year, this really wound up being one of the best weekends of my life.
Between meeting long-time internet friends in person for the first time, seeing some of the people who helped shape this franchise I love so much, and the absolute insanity of the dealer room, it was all completely overwhelming and I'm still trying to process the fact that it actually happened!
Overall I think my favorite day was Friday. Not to say the main days on Saturday and Sunday weren't great, but after we all met up in the morning, me and some friends watched the first season of Animated all day right before the Animated retrospective panel, which just made it the tribute to DJW all the more powerful.
Had pretty good luck in the dealer room on Saturday too, managed to find my two biggest wants (LG Slipstream and Nightbird) almost immediately!
Another great moment was Kermit the Frog hanging out with Frank Todaro in the bar on Saturday night
Safe to say I'm already starting to budget for Chicago this October!

A few I found from a quick Google search. I guess the only instruction was to be sealed to card.

Yes, I'm not sure if that's the way it was intended or if this is a variant!
Greebtron
Quite a few. Certainly things like bodyless Deliberata, multiple Cyclonii, Dirge and Ramjet exploding and flashback Constructicons are all on that list. That's not counting things that, whether Marvel or AKOM, were just not carried out the way they were intended.
JLvatron
Wow! I wonder if the discrepancies are down to general AKOM animation errors?
I think it turned out for the best that Flint's "Secrets" script wasn't used for the actual Transformers: the Movie production.
This was he was able to rewrite the ideas into 5 Faces of Darkness, which was amazing! And this made Season 3 so awesome.
JLvatron
Matrix, that looks like classic Gobots colours!
Wait, is he packaged sideways?
In Robot mode???

That was the "Cold Dragon" (read: Cryotek) retool/repaint of the Jiang Xing Metalbeast. The mold looks amazing in photos, but seeing it in person, it was too big and honestly too underdetailed for it's size.
Dark Starscream
Yeah, that's how I felt about that Cryotek in the case, too. I'm not sure who made that one, but it's massive! It's a different mold than the smaller Perfect Effect TM2 Megatron I got.
Dark Starscream
The Secrets of the Five Faces of Darkness panel was a very eye-opening look into the process and had some interesting discrepancies between what Flint Dille wrote and what AKOM animated.
I wish I had the disposable income to drop on these UK exclusive Action Masters.
