The official Hasbro Pulse social media channels have uploaded a very nice Transformers “Discontinued? What do you mean I’m being discontinued?” stop motion video for our viewing pleasure.
Studio Series Jazz is the main star on this video with a special participation of some other War For Cybertron and Studio Series 86 figures. This clip was revealed during the recent 35th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie in-theater showings. We won’t spoil the fun, but be sure to read the voice cast, we are sure you will love it!
- Stan Bush as Jazz.
- John Moshita as Blurr & director.
- Gregg Berger as audio tech.
Be sure to watch this animation after the break and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

I interviewed John Moschitta an hour before he recorded his dialogue for this lol

Seeing Jazz along with Bumblebee survived the 1986 movie.

Skyfire had a blink and you missed it moment in season 3. Dark Awakening he and or his Seeker clones are destroyed by the Quintesons

The Gentleman voicing Jazz in this Short was Stan Bush the Writer and Performer of the The Touch. The song he was Singing. It was also in the 86 movie.
Mardroid
I’m amused by how he quickly changes into his alt-mode to fetch his guitar and chair out of the boot.

What he said! Bless his soul, Jazzmeister's original voice actor is long gone, since 1986.
samisham
6 feet under since 86.

What the hell was this?
Im not sure what I just watched…. what was the point?
Was this G1 or movie? Where was Jazz's funny cartoon voice? I like the idea of this short, but the execution was flat.

I've been thinking for a while that I'd love to see a Transformers comedy series aimed at long time fans kinda like the Harley Quinn show.

"Of course I've got a song! I'm Jazz!" Okay now the hard questions, do the makers of this video actually know what jazz is
Massdestruction
Now I want to see a parody video where 2007 Movie Jazz tries to convince Bay not to kill him off.
Slingshot
Not a fan of how they whitewashed Jazz. They could have done OP with Stan Bush, or another 84/85 character, but given the history of African American actors performing the voice of Jazz, this leaves a sour taste.

This was surprisingly really nice and funny. Nice one. Hasbro putting it out made it even funnier.

Even the makers of this video couldn't score an Earthrise Prowl to make this video…

YES! My first thought was, "Hasbro is doing this and they're being all cutesy about telling us with a stop motion video?!?!" hahaha.

Jazz and Cliffjumper would have been in S3 occasionally (as was Spike and BB). However Jazz' voice actor Scatman Crothers unfortunately fell ill and passed away late in 1986. Even though voice recording for S3 probably was going on around spring of 86, he probably wasn't healthy enough to work. Casey Kasem (Cliffjumper) left due to negative stereotype depictions of Arabic Culture in S3 (Abdul Faqqadi sp?) . However at least Jazz had a couple non-speaking background appearances in Call of the Primitives, and the last episode Rebirth part 3.

Maybe in current year if we tell people they are being \"discontinued\" instead of canceled, that would go over better …or probably not. At least give them all a chance to sing their way back into the good graces of the twitter mob.

Anybody else panic when they saw the words Transforners and discontinued in the same title?

Okay that depressed, slow transformation had me rolling. Great short
