My son just got one of the Buzzworthy crash combiners and he's in love with it. He's only 5, but I'm guessing if they make more like that he's going to want all of them. So yeah I want some more detailed stuff, but I've got Menasor coming next year. If the combiner line hooks kids, that's a big win.
WarpoothSalami
God I hope so. I love the doucons, and I wouldn't mind battletrap being a tow truck instead of a van, and I don't mind it being a triple changer instead of a true doucon. As long as the toys do things right, I won't mind.
B-Fox
All I hope for the RotB line is that the Maximals and Predacons featured have lots of colors to them and that the toys and final screen designs are actually synched up.
Little Bunny
I\'m going to pray and hope that the combiners look great this time around. They were always my favorite because of how they could go from their own individual form to become this giant robot ready to kick butt. Hands down, devastator was so awesome but could have been done waaay better imo. Either way, I\'m excited to see what\'s in store this time.

Ok, I figured the 1-steps would be the $10.99 figures, didn't realise they'd gone up so much :/ I guess the $9.99 figures could be Battler too (?).

That's exactly what I want!

It would be cool if like AOE and TLK they do a subline where they use Generations molds which in this case the WFC molds to give us "CHUG" takes on the ROTB cast. Like imagine the WFC Maximal molds in the ROTB color scheme along with characters like Wheeljack using the ER Ironhide/Ratchet mold and Mirage using the SS 86 Jazz mold.
Skylanderformer
I know studio series is the making of scales figures for the movies, but I hope there's a premier edition somewhere down the line of time. The reason the less engineered toys are made is to appear to kids. But I know a five year old who has studio series constructions and is likely getting the whole devastator completed. You don't have to sacrifice good products for the sake of marketing. I just need a genarations scale with decent articulation and good sculpting and I'll be happy.
Skylanderformer
Yep, same here. The code names have to be understandable enough for the toy producers to know what they are making.
TF Hot Rod
I feel like it gotta be a main character/leader of the film and going by the name by guess is it’s Optimus Primal.

These won't be the generations size scales, more like Cyberverse or the Bumblebee line where characters get multiple figures in different sizes but there's no real scale. I suspect the deluxes will be like the Cyberverse deluxe figures too in that they're not to scale either, just 'classic conversion' unhampered by a gimmick.
'Battler' sounds like it'll be the legion or scout scale, like the Bumblebee Speed Series, 'Combiner' and 'Weaponiser' more the deluxe/warrior scale. The more expensive/larger ones will probably be like Cyberverse Ultra Scale or Bumblebee Nitro series.
rikaldomario
Really curious to se who TF George is. This character apparently has a Core, Deluxe, Voyager and one of the biggest gimmick class coming. I know Core and gimmick classes don't really adhere to any sense of scale.
But Deluxe and Voyager usually do, so maybe a character in the movie that gets an upgrade that adds to its mass, or there are versions of the same toy with more accesories.
Of course, this is all speculation. They can do like they did with TLK Megatron that literally had a toy on every size and gimmick class.
TF Hot Rod
Gonna take a good guess George is Primal and I think Outlaw is Mirage since he will be a rebellious character in the movie. Hoping one of these deluxes is WJ.

Here are the previous leaked listing, grouped by price. Now to work out which is which:
• George Transformers ($9.99, ROTB)
• Alpha Transformers ($9.99, ROTB)
• Safari Transformers ($10.99, ROTB)
• Journey Transformers ($10.99, ROTB)
• Orion Transformers ($10.99, ROTB)
• Pluto Transformers ($10.99, ROTB)
• Warrior Transformers ($10.99, ROTB)
• Transformers Alpha ($15.99, ROTB)
• Orion Transformers ($15.99, ROTB)
• Transformers Barcelona ($15.99, ROTB)
• George Transformers ($21.99, ROTB)
• Cyclops Transformers ($21.99, ROTB)
• Oscar Transformers ($21.99, ROTB)
• Mv7 Deluxe Outlaw ($22.99, ROTB)
• Mv7 Deluxe Pluto ($22.99, ROTB)
• Mv7 Deluxe George ($22.99, ROTB)
• Mv7 Deluxe Barcelona ($22.99, ROTB)
• Mv7 Deluxe Titan ($22.99, ROTB)
• Cyclops Transformers ($31.49, ROTB)
• George Transformers ($31.49, ROTB)
• Warrior ($31.49, ROTB)
• Mv7 Role Play Blaster Alpha ($20.99, ROTB)
• 2pk Transformers Bb Mv7 Energon ($26.99, ROTB)
When they do come out I expect Arcee will be the new Core class, and Wheeljack will be a deluxe given that his lat mode is smaller than Ratchet's or the Dreads'. I would've said Prime and Scourge will probably only be voyagers too, but given how we've had 86 Hot Rod, Commander Rodimus and Leader Galvatron, it's quite possible they'll be leaders, just at voyager size with extra engineering and paint.

"Adult collectors" and people who want "the best version" is a Venn diagram, but it's not a circle. Some people just enjoy fun toys. Those people will buy stuff from the movie line regardless. Clearly the Bee Movie stuff sold, as they're going with it again.
The market for the "screen accurate" Studio stuff will be there before or after the movie comes out, unlike the market for the tie-in toyline.
They're probably just banking on that audience only caring about Studio anyway so they'll release them on their own time rather than trying to force it all out at once to coincide with the movie. Easier to spread the stuff out similar to how they did it for the Bee movie than to try to cram it all in stores at once.
IDWDrift
It’s definitely not going to be like the WFC Trilogy Weaponizers. They’ll most likely just be normal figures packed with gimmicky weapons.
rikaldomario
Yes, I'm aware of this. I'm guessing most of RotB toyline will be like the BBM line, consisting mostly of gimmick toys.
What I find curious is that they are potentially shooting themselves in the foot, since they're implying "the best version of X character is not coming right now". That would make some "adult collectors" hold of until later.
Or maybe they're banking on people buying placeholder figures and that actually is a better business practice.
I'm kinda interested in the gimmicky toys, I enjoyed quite a bit the ones I have from the BBM and particularly enjoyed the weirder ones like Power Series Ironhide, Ratchet, van Soundwave and muscle car Hot Rod.

The movies usually have a wide variety of figures types for each character. Back in the day (TLK and older) those Generations style figures would come at the same time as part of the movie line (AoE had a Generation line running parallel with Generations itself, and TLK had the "Premier Series." This changed with Bee movie, where the movie line was entirely the "variety" figures and the Generations style figures went in Studio Series. Usually one or two at a time.
TF Hot Rod
I hope so and that seems to be what will happen since the SS ROTB figures will happen in 2023
