Director Steven Caple Jr. is happy to announce that the principal photography of Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts has concluded successfully.
This announcement comes via the director’s official Instagram account with a picture of Steven Caple Jr. smiling proudly inside Optimus Prime’s altmode at Cuzco’s main square. ‘That’s a wrap’ states the director, who may return back to the United States to oversee the post-production of the movie.
TFW2005 staff would like to take this opportunity to thank our 2005 Boards members who worked tirelessly to bring, not just news from the set, but also some amazing on-set images and videos. ROTB, by far, is our best look at such comprehensive coverage of day-to-day activities at a Transformers movie principal photography. We are proud of our members who kept, not just this site, but the entire Transformers community up to date with what’s happening in Peru.
Speaking of which, we would like to thank the good people in Peru. It’s clear to us that the cast and crew had a comfortable and safe time during their stay in this wonderful country.

I don\'t care what everyone thinks, but that is just one beautiful truck. I\'m a G1 disciple and if you don\'t change with the times, you get left in the dust. You hardly ever see a COE running up and down the road these days as you do long nosed semis. Being a kid of the 80s, every time I do see a COE. I think it\'s Optimus Prime in disguise.

This is gold. heart heart heart

First post on this forum, but I just want to say that I am really touched by the curiosity and passion this film had while the staff was shooting by fans and not.
Evidently we are all in some sense a bit tense / excited for the future, considering the exciting premises.
I am now of the opinion that what has been released and seen in the past is now to leave us behind and go on with this new beginning started with \'Bumblebee\' and see where all this will take us.
Obviously I wish the best, I assume that even for this film we should wait for the Super Bowl (hopefully …) to have a first viewing.
It was very nice to see how many shared what they could on set and frankly I think we really surpassed it! Thank you all!

Terrorcons are rumored to be Unicron's servants and if that's true, nothing is stopping Unicron from reformatting an Autobot.
setientshoebox
but the orange truck's a terrorcon
Gee Won 1984
It's Huffer. It made more sense making him a smaller Tow Truck to keep him a minibot.

Really excited to see a Transformers movie again with more action and less money throwing. Seeing that background there reminds me of the first movie. Super exciting.

And now we wait for the Post Production, CGI work, and reshoots before the first Teaser drops!

If there's one good thing to come out of yesterday it's this. Really curious how they'll get it done for June assuming that date is still happening.
I will walk out of the theatre if Ron Perlman lisps that line.

Filming wraps yes, but as I'm sure this movie will involve oodles of CGI, now they begin the loooong post-production process to get all of the effects shots done and added.
If any missed it there is a great documentary of Mr. Bay trying to get the effects shots done for Revenge of the Fallen on the Blu ray (probably online as well) and it's worth checking out. Seeing the desks of the various CGI animators at ILM– covered top to bottom in Transformers toys– is worth the watch alone, but it is cool seeing how the post production process works on films of this scale. You could tell Michael was stressing to the last minute as ILM animators struggled to get shots to work and the CGI to match Michael's vision of how these bots should look on screen. Obviously YMMV as to the aesthetic, but I'm a huge fan of these movie bots so the doc was great to see.

Hey, if none of them have those ghastly human lips like in TLK, I’ll be good to go.

Welcome to the Transformers fandom. 500 years from now, the petrified remains of 1984-1987 purists will still be whining that it's not G1 enough.
The movies are not G1. Even IDW – while taking heavy cues from G1 – is not G1.
