Takara Tomy Website have updated two more images featuring a Transformers MPG-01 Trainbot Shouki x Tomytec Diorama collaboration.
The images show Masterpiece MPG-01 Shouki in robot and train mode surrounded by some cool Tomytec Geocolle diorama pieces. Tomytec offers a large selection of Japanese outline N Scale products including locomotives, multiple units, buildings, kits and accessories as well as trams and tramways. Takara Tomy really did a fantastic job with these images.

After MP Trailbreaker's reveal, my enthusiasm for the MPG Trainbots have dampened a little.
I wished they'd worked in more of the 3.0 features like ab crunch, optional faces, wrist flex, butterfly jointed shoulders etc into the designs.
Matte paint on the face might also have been a better option. The shiny silver face on the Shouki displayed at Shizuoka Hobby Show doesn't do the sculpt any favors. The reflections give it that sour face puckered up look like on the original MP Lambor.

The more time goes without a Raiden prototype, the more I think they don't want to be copied for some reason.
Yukikaze (the other leg) dimensions should be the same as Shouki, right?

And arms train should be around 22 cm everyone.
I'm really really curious about the combining transformation, i'm thinking about an asymmetrical transformation for a totally new combiner typology.

I adore how nicely done the trains are so far but I really need them to show a better representation of the combined mode before I commit to getting any of them, since I'll be displaying in that form, and none of the silhouettes so far have looked very good.

Thanks for clarification.

Yes. They used an image of a Getsuei accessory and wrote something about a pantograph being included.
Since Shouki does not come with a pantograph , they thought it would be problematic to leave it as is.

I noticed the bottom of the placard is missing. Is that what you mean?

I evidently lack a good eye today! Please explain.
Getsuei's images??
Edit: Oh right! Yes – good eye!
lord ginrai
Good eye, dang!
aniline
Apparently they noticed that Getsuei's images were being used.

Don’t worry about it. Hadn’t been an issue with any of the MPs so far.
Onilink
Yeah… This scares me a bit

Main train side panels are still painted clear plastic. You can see the unpainted edges in bot mode.
Onilink
It seems that the clear plastic is gone… Or Better, only on the windows little pieces
Some people needs reassurance on their choice trashing the other figures… I mean, it's ok, you like it, you win. Be a little more confident on your choices

It's hard to take anyone seriously when they can't even bother to proofread what they wrote before they post.
I'm getting both sets, TT & Moon Studios. Both sets do alot right, and both sets get some stuff wrong. You can't go wrong with either one. Depends on what your looking for, for your collection.

Huh interesting, looks like the roof was changed to be silver. Think it was just grey before right?

Arie
It does indeed. The colors are nicer too. Different lighting also helps. No mold changes compared to the prototype that I can see.

Final copy looks sharp, considerable difference from the prototype.
