Transformers – MDLX Optimus Prime
threezero is pleased to add to our new MDLX series with the second figure in our exciting Transformers line-up, MDLX Optimus Prime!
MDLX is a new series of articulated figures capturing the spirit of threezero’s renown DLX series at a smaller scale with a similar high range of articulation and great durability resulting in a groundbreaking affordable price.
The Transformers MDLX line of figures are based on the original 1980s The Transformers cartoon and toy line, as redesigned by threezero Art Director Kelvin Sau. The iconic designs have been remixed to incorporate threezero’s hyper-detailed mechanical aesthetic, offering a familiar and exciting new presentation. Transformers MDLX figures feature threezero’s unique die-cast zinc alloy and engineer-grade plastic frame system, which retains the tactile playability and durability of the figure. Each figure is finished off with the detailed craftsmanship and weathered paint application that threezero is known for, bringing beloved Transformers characters to a new format for all to enjoy.
Transformers – MDLX Optimus Prime is approximately 7” (178 mm) tall, with approximately 48 points of articulation and a die-cast metal frame. Accessories include Ion Blaster, Energon Axe, Autobot Matrix of Leadership, and five pairs of interchangeable hands.

Really glad I ordered this. The line is a winner so far and glad to see there's more on the way.

Nooo! Prime is out of stock on Amazon!!
dragon
Looks good like to see megaton make appearance in this sequel
Requiem Prime
I dig both the gunmetal and black, but I was missing the black and didn't know it.
StarMaverick
Yeah but that's way to black! And your gunmetal black looks much…much better for the legs!!!
VVa
Thanks, mate!
And @RVDA a while back made an edit to make the entire legs look black. So I guess that should answer your question. Lol

But I didn't do that because personally, I really like the "boot" cut that a majority of Transformers have. It just looks appealing to me. And a good bit of modern Bees have it too, and those turned out nice-looking, imo. Lol
StarMaverick
Looks really fantastic! Just can't help but wondering if going all the way down the leg with the gunmetal black, just like G1 Bee, would help the figure to look even more G1 toon accurate?

Speaking from personal experience are you?
Tony_Bacala
That sounds very specific.
parrothead
Maybe that's it. But it is something
VVa
Man has tight abs and hella pecs and that looks chubby?
MindChamber
Prime looks like that chubby kid from the 80s wearing a pair of huskys from sears that his mom couldn't be bothered to hem.
SpaceWarp
Looks good, but for some reason his uh… \"lower abdimant\" bothers me, i feel like it\'s big.
VVa
You guys should have him posed with the rest of the DLX Primes. That would be sick.
VVa
Just paint his eyes.
Liege Prime
He's looking real good. He's even a little bigger than I thought.
Senator Magnificus
No yellow eyes? I'm sorry Prime, but that's 15 demerits.
Keep this up and you shan't be earning that 10 speed.
Applejacktimus
I love the style of these designs. Think they'd be great for a video game.
Gee Won 1984
I like this new Prime. I just don't need another Prime.
