Thank to the Arkansas Transformers Collectos Facebook group we can confirm that the new Transformers Studio Series Wave 14 Voyager SS 86-10 Sweep is out at US retail.
This figure is a slight retool and redeco of Studio Series 86 Scourge and it was found at Walmart in Alma, Arkansas for $26.00. Time to start building your Sweep army for your display.
Happy hunting!

Loads of them up here in Ontario. If I have spare cash I might expand the ranks of them when they go for clearance. If not I'm happy at 3 plus Scourge.

I’ve been seeing a lot of SS86 Sweep in GA. Great news. I bought 3 Sweep for my collection.

"FOOL! Galvatron can be any size he wants!"

There's never been a "Sweep One" in any fiction. Even the troopbuilder convention set started with Sweep Two.
Purple Heart
Just found them in Tennessee.

Thinner isn't going to do anything with it already applied. Use a 99% Isopropyl to get rid of paint or sand it down. I just applied a 6mm modelling file to the affected parts and it worked like a charm.

Can't we go a step further and say that Galvatron doesn't belong near anything? It'd certainly be healthier and safer for everyone in the long run.

Galvatron and logic do not belong in the same sentence.
Silver Snake
Has anyone here done the mod where you sand off the excess paint on the wrists in order to get the wrists to turn better? I was thinking of doing that but instead of standing them down I was thinking of using paint thinner.

Hasbro's slowly been offering "troop builder" Marvel figures on Pulse.
Down the road, Sweeeps would make a great option for TF. As would a generic Junkion from Wreck-Gar.
SPLIT LIP
Y'know, aside from the fact that he was shortpacked and hard as hell to find. I never saw him in stores, only got mine from preordering.

I'm gonna buy 6! I don't think you ever see more than 6 in the cartoon (including Scourge I suppose) but in Call of The Primitives Sweep 6 and 7 is mentioned but that poses the question, is Scourge Sweep 1? TakaraTomy says yes it seems (check TFwikis Sweeps page) so I'll buy 6 Sweeps to have as sweep 2 through 7.
Will be looking cool with Cyclonus, Scourge and (unfortunatly) slightly oversized Galvatron – Cyclonus is taller than Galvatron dammit! (I know Scourge is the same color as the rest of the sweeps in the 'toon, I like him having a slightly diffrent hue but I don't like Galvatron being bigger, somethings your fine with them changing and some not you know? There is no particular logic to it).

Yep, I truly cannot believe they didn’t go this route. Anyone who wanted “Sweeps” identical would have been free to purchase as many Scourges as they wanted.

While I think the "Sweep" makes a better colored Scourge in my preferences, I'm gonna skip this release. I too have fallen to the "buy the same figure more than once with minor differences", but this time they are too minor for me to justify. I'm gonna use Scourge's older deluxe molds as the Sweeps and call it a day.
I would have biten if Hasbro had done a minor head remold like this View attachment 29227221
And a different colorscheme like this View attachment 29227222
That would have probably thrown off the purists, but it would have referenced other versions of the Sweeps.

I'm sure Akom already has that covered, somewhere.
The Universe and Titans Returns versions of the character still exist, if that's what you want in your collection.
