Premium Collectibles Studio have just updated their website with an official listing and gallery of their impressive Grimlock Diorama Supreme Edition.
This a very impressive diorama of the Dinobot leader and Premium Collectibles Studio really had a lot more to show after their first teaser image. This statue features a stylized rendition of Grimlock in a heroic pose holding his sword, jumping over some blue crystals, and all on top of his dinosaur mode which is on a volcanic land with fire. This impressive piece is 29.5 inches/74.93 cm tall and it’s priced $1850 with an estimated shipping date in July / September 2022.

It may be something that just looks better in person. But I'd hate to spend $1800 to find out.

That T.rex mode is hideous. It's not that it isn't G1, but it looks so scrawny. The head's fangs looks to be inspired by the shitty Turok game. The Transformable figures have a better looking Dinobot mode. No excuse for something that doesn't even transform.

I also thinks it’s a neat piece, but I also think there could have been a way to make that transition transformation piece look much better. You said it yourself, it looked silly when you first saw it. It wasn’t until you got a clear understanding of what it was trying to do that you found it cool. Same for me. I just think for a $1800 statue, it should get the idea across immediately and near perfectly, without having to look harder or “understand” anything. That’s just the way I see it.

That dino face. yikes

Neat. Will never own it when it costs as much as some old cars so I’m good.

This looks like a hot mess. There is just too much going on.

Think Grimlock looks cooler with red optics. More intimidating.

okay, its a lot clearer now -the mid-transformation thing going on- in these pics…would be nice if there was an upclose shot of that effect
kinda looks like the astral form of Grimlock leaving his body…or ghost haunting him…

At first I thought it looked silly -like it was just Grimlock jumping over Grimlock.
Once I realized that the translucent blue is actually representative of Grimlock's transformation the whole thing grew on me; it's very clever.
Of course, I'll never be able to afford it nor have the space for it, but I think it's very cool.

Or, alternatively, buy an SS86 Grimlock and still have enough left over for 100 Victory Sabers.

You're not being pedantic at all. This is not G1 Grimlock.

Shampoo bottles are more collectable for me. Because those are properly "G1" in aesthetic, this is not.
I feel the same. Seems like these companies love calling everything non-Bayverse as G1. It's a disservice to BOTH the G1 and especially the Evergreen/Authentic/Cybervese designers in this case.

Seems like a name you'd want to avoid…especially in TF circles. Premium Collectibles.

I love these statues (and others from other companies in recent years.) But while I know it's a stupid semantic nitpick on my part, and I know it doesn't matter, and I know there are ways to argue for it that are perfectly valid… I admit my brain itches every time a design like this is referred to as "G1" instead of "G1-inspired" or "G1 but heightened/stylized" or what not.
In contrast, I would consider this a G1 statue of Grimlock by P.C.S.: Transformers Grimlock PVC statue – Premium Collectibles Studio
And yes, I know, G1 is an umbrella term that covers a lot arguably. I get it. I'm aware. I know I'm being pedantic and that it doesn't matter. Fully acknowledged.
It just bugs my brain. Sorry. I can't help it.

Weird thing those sholder missles, is there something that cyberverse was homaging which has then been translated into this thing?
BumbleDouche
Apart from that chest piece, it looks a lot like the design from that King Grimlock comic…
Go-Faster-Wings
Gosh this looks cool. I usually don\'t care about statues but damn does he look good.

This looks more like Cyberverse Grimlock than G1
