An image has just popped up on the TFW boards of what appears to be the Transformers Kingdom Deluxe Slammer figure! Shown here only in robot mode thus far, the photo nevertheless provides us with a good first look.
We’re still waiting for the official reveal of not only this but the other upcoming Kingdom figures as well. Until that happens, you can check out the picture and let us know your first impressions after the jump!

Hey, Hasbro.
Would be nice if you could officially reveal this guy and his wave mates for preorder.
Please?
Neko-bot77
Amen to that…
Mudslide
It truly would be something to go into a store and actually see product on the pegs.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see them in-store before they're officially announced
Mudslide
So what century are him, Pipes and whoever else is in this wave going up for preorder?
Blot
Metroplex has 5mm ports all over him, so it wouldn't be too hard. Most of us found ways to put Six-Gun's parts on in some fashion or another.

I have a theory based on how Prime Knock-out is said to look a bit G1-ified that the new Cybertron Metroplex will be partially as well, mainly with the Chonk mode. Tall mode will definitely look more UT-ish.
I personally wouldn't be against a 2013 reissue like CW Devs got through Amazon or even a Retro Release with a bit of Takara's paintjob on him like the TR guys did (although i think Fort Max would fit the latter a bit better).
All i know is my wallet is going to loath me next year….

I would be so happy if the new Titan was a G1 Metroplex and the leak about it being a Cybertron version was wrong.
It's just a little strange that Six-Gun and now Slammer are getting new toys with no reissue of the original T30 Metroplex.
Neko-bot77
They specifically mentioned the 2013 version, but I wouldn't be surprised if it also works with the rumored 2022 Metroplex…
TargetmasterJoe
Yeah I’d be hard-pressed to find a place where Slammer could conceivably interact with a toy that's 8 years old and probably been out of print like forever ago.
Unless they meant a new Metroplex was in the cards?
NOBLExGAMER
Ehhhhhhhhhh
Fc203
That set was badass i love all of those figures same goes for the siege on cybertron set
Neko-bot77
Also, not sure if anyone pointed this out, but the arms are rotated 90 degrees wrong. The 2 ports we're seeing are the ones typically seen on the sides of the forearms that most WFC trilogy toys have. The actual fists and hand holes are facing toward the body, so the elbows rotate the correct direction
Neko-bot77
Seems to me the 2013 Metroplex did a pretty good job of this. Still curious how the new Slammer will connect to it…

Link please

G1 Metroplex fans want one thing and it's fucking disgusting.

Unfortunately…

save for a few outliers, you've just described 90% of transformers multipacks. the two seeker two-packs and similar sets are in the minority.
Greeman
Wish this guy at leaast like took a couple more pics to show it from other angles
Nemesisprime1975
Few years ago we had these as takara two packs
