…and as a bonus, we've taken a crack at doing a 1080p upscaled version of Evolution 52 using soft subs vs the burned in subs we usually do on YouTube – Let us know in the comments section what you guys think.

Some good news, we discovered that Hasbro / Takara-Tomy are allowing uploads of Legends of the Microns now on YouTube. All episodes have been uploaded and are available to watch –

No more uploads, it looks like even Hasbro knows that transformers began and ended with Sunbow G1!

Wow! IN all the times I seen this intro, I never saw the ark there! Good catch!
Botch
Nice catch! In all this time I never noticed that.

So, I’m really enjoying watching Season 1 and 2 the past few weeks and just noticed something after watching the cartoons for 36 years. The volcano in the Season 2 opening is meant to be the very one the Arc is embedded in. I just found the opening here. It’s a blink and you’ll miss it frame.

Or they can upload the horribly made english voice dub from hong kong!

It would be hilarious if they just went with the Sparkle/Billy/Paaaahrts version. Not that they ever would, or that it would be a good move (realistically it wouldn't.) Just that it would be hilarious.
GizmoTron
Well that's never going to happen, so it would be either subbed or not at all.
IDWDrift
Shang Chi had an over-stuffed plot and one of the most unfunny characters in the entire MCU, but other than that I agree with you. If they want to reach out to kids, they should either not upload it and instead move onto Beast Wars, or find a way to dub it.

Cerebros is asking Spike for assisted suicide due to depression, Zaraks lines: "When you DIE they all DIE!" Spkes counter "Don't make any funeral arrangements yet."
You'd never get that that in todays shows.
Now imagine Carly when she finds out whats happened to her husband and son on this 'adventure'.

This is still headcanon to me.

There are some snippets of media that have never been "properly" reproduced. I seem to recall that the broadcast opening for BW season 3, with the new animation of the ships crashing, was never released on home video. And then there was the G2 prequel issue that was never reprinted, and the Marvel character cameos who were all edited out after like 2003….
Deathcatg
Gotta bring in the Tommy Kennedy versions now.

Good for people who like streaming who don’t own dvds

Yeah, that too. And that horrible scene where the decepticons are torturing him by ripping his cybernetic arm off and he screams in pain. As an adult, the implications of that (both technologically and just in terms of sheer horror) hit so different than in the 80s.

Maybe I have that Headmaster gimmick wrong, but I always thought it weird that Prime was essentially exiling Spike since he had bonded with Cerebros. Also weird that they do this story where Daniel kinda becomes Robocop, badly injured and forced forever to live in a robot shell. That it's a female robot just makes it a bit weirder and kinky.
The story is a terrible mess, hurt by the fact that they had to introduce and use over 20 characters, and rationalize a weird gimmick. I always hated that almost all the new bots got faceplates, and they did this weird green skin for the Nebulons, who by necessity would become major characters had the series continued. They just looked so bargain bin Sci Fi.
