Unlimited Member myself, Special Events are the only way I get my bonus points.
Most Fathom Events run 2 days, sometimes 3, and usually 1 showing a day, sometimes 2. I would be shocked if they made the top 20.
I watch 'Charts with Dan' regularly, and he charts films shown in less than 1000 theaters recently. I was shocked that the recent IMax screening of 'Ghost in the Shell' (the original from '95) was like the 4th highest on that list at around 200k. I would be very surprised if Transformers cleared even 75-100k.

The 50% off popcorn on Tuesdays is only for Regal Crown Club members (at least where I'm at. I believe it's at all locations though).
As a side note, I'm really curious to see how well these showings did. There were a good amount of people in my showing on Sunday and it seems like it's done pretty well all around based on photos from people online.

Damn. I definitely paid full price for my popcorn at Regal tonight. Must be regional.

Just got back from my screening. Near 30 people in the theater, so busiest Fathom Event I've been to in a while. Glad I went on a Tuesday, 1/2 price popcorn at Regals.
Wish there were posters, but if there were, they might have all gone on Sunday. Unlike the IMax Ghost in the Shell screenings went last Saturday), was able to get a poster easy.

Anyone know if the Stop motion shorts were released online? My theater messed up the showing and skipped all of them.
They started the movie 15 mins in had to rewind and skipped all the shorts, trivia, and the other extras of the event.

My favorite part was that the Galvatron in the opening skit had the misassembled shoulders.

Let's just say I have better things to do tonight than die.

I got to see the 2018(?) showing of it and loved it then, and I am excited to be going again tomorrow night!
TFTM is the only movie I watch multiple times a year, and I love that I get to see it in theaters again!
MrOrange645
This!! 1000% this!

I get to go see it tomorow night. Im not expecting anything special. I just want the chance to see what I saw back in 1986 when I was a kid. I dont care about remastering or 4K or if anyone else gets anything out of it. I dont care about the pandemic. Ive been going to the theater ever since my local one reopened. Just let me be a kid again.

enjoyed the experience…wasn't too concerned over the quality of the print, so to speak, as it's a 35 year old film and no amount of remastering is going to make it look sharp and high-def because there are limitations to what you can do…
brought back a lot of memories from when I saw the original release…
snickers from the audience when Megatron's "Unlike some warriors…" line cut immediately to Starscream…
The massacre on the autobot shuttle was sort of shocking as the lasers were 1000 percent more lethal now…
Seeing the first of many casualties set the tone…seeing wheeljacks corpse elicited some gasps…
It wasn't too common for transformers to become entirely new entities (though they did do Orion Pax to Optimus Prime in season 2) so seeing Megatron becoming Galvatron was a surprise…
Soundwave announcement of ratbat debut was exciting, and the blaster cassette counterattack was a pleaser…
The gag with rumble carrying megatrons fusion cannon went over well with the audience…
the reaction from the audience to Spike's "Oh Shit!" line…
the high pitch of the music when Prime flatlined…still sort of moved when that plays…Cullen did a great death scene…and Starscream's death got a good reaction too,…
I remember my little brother saying "Rodimus Prime" seconds after Hot Rod reclaimed the matrix from galvatron…iremember at the time being confused by the toy catalog showing Rodimus and Hot Rod and why they were essentially the same toy…so it still didn't dawn on me that even after Galvatron the same might happen again to Hot Rod…the toybox tech specs didn't let on they were previous characters…
the Phantom of the Opera vibe when the organ music used during their battle…
the first Rodimus transformation was really cool to see…
didnt' recall what happened to Galvatron the first time I saw it…too much stuff happening onscreen…now I notice Sunstreaker flying Prime's shuttle when he was also on Earth…
seeing the cast credits and trying to recall whether I had seen all the characters listed (Gears was in the film??)
the two Cylconi and sweeps thing in hindsight, I wonder if the two seekers were supposed to become the lieutenants Cyclonus and Scourge and the Insecticons the Sweeps…
Sort of wish there was another animated movie that preceeded this one…just to show the transition and introduction of events and characters…get us used to the more brutal effects of the war…
in subsequent viewings on tape and dvd later on I've lost a lot of interest in the last third of the film, after the mainstays have mostly departed…so it was nice to see the entire thing all the way through once more (still not sure what they were trying to do with Wheelie other than to create another surrogate Bumblebee-type character)…
Shepard Prime
I went yesterday with wifey and the kids. Best b-day outing I've had in awhile. My oldest daughter had seen it already at home but welcomed it. My younger boy and daughter had a blast, especially my boy. The biggest reactions from him was Autobot City transforming, Blurr's speech, and Unicron revealing himself. Blurr's motormouth just cracked him up.
MrOrange645
I ordered 2 Sweeps to go with my Scourge. I'm running out room so fast, it's not funny.

I have to have 3 for a set even though I'm not sold on the color change.
dmc2008
Also this was the best comparison yet I've seen of Scourge and the sweeps. The colors are noticeably different, and I may actually pick up a Sweeps now.
The screening itself was disappointing for me. I was really hoping for a better quality print. There were moments where the frames were completely out of focus (Hot Rod introduction) and the film itself looked dull and not nearly as vibrant as I was hoping. Hell, there's a 4k version up on YouTube that looks a lot better than what I saw yesterday.
EDIT: Looking at other versions of the film, there does appear to be issues with frame focus during Hot Rod's fishing scene… Weird, I never noticed that before!
Still, I'm really glad they did this, and I'm especially happy to see kids in the theater. If they do this again for the 40th anniversary I will def take my daughter. I just hope they make the experience more fun (higher quality print, louder volume).
