Thanks to 2005 Board member Cardion for sharing in our boards a set of in-hand images of the new Transformers Cyberverse Roll & Change Optimus Prime.
This figure transforms automatically just by rolling them in alt mode. Both figures feature lights, 10 button-activated sound effects and Energon armor parts. As we can see from the images this is quite a big figure, more than twice the size of a Cyberverse Deluxe figure and even taller than Cyberverse Ultimate class Megatron. While big, robot mode has a limited poseability due to his gimmicks. We have a clear look at all the Energon armor parts and even a short video showing off the auto-transforming gimmick. A simple but fun toy for Cyberverse fans.
Watch all the images and video after the break and then let us know your impressions on the 2005 Board!

Ran into this guy at Walmart in shakopee, MN. Dunno if that's a store first or not but I'm guessing not since you've already got it in hand. He looks cool in person but prolly not $50 cool for me.

I will skip this
Chaos Muffin
These type of TFs are good distractions that can help protect your collection.
Prop him in front of it like a decoy, in case a little child monster decides to make a b line towards your MP/3P shelf.
Big goofy red Optimi are handy to have around.
Hollywood Hoist
I think I saw the roll change Bumblebee today at Walmart.
Judgement prime
Who here think it would be cool to give the wfc figures armor based off the spark armor from this franchise
dragon
don’t buy it people get sick from mold
nice toy for kids
Sovietbot
The only thing that suits me in this mold is just the presence of the correct Autobot insignia.

My kid likes to toss his Paw Patrol pups around and has the dangerous combination of power and inaccuracy to make those little plastic pups hit like a cruise missile.

Transforms almost like a mecardimal, or a hello carbot unity mecardimal. I was expecting the Auto-Roller like transformation, but hey, this is fine too. Perhaps this is supposed to be a cheaped down version of the Robosen Prime?
CobraKai
Whoa. That was awesome, fast, and not $700
Cardion
The bigger risk is of it being used as a weapon. This Prime is pretty chunky and feels very durable. I could see it taking out lamp if a kid gives it a good enough swing.
T-Hybrid
Isn't it like ages 5+?
Don't think it'd be too big a risk.

Amazon. He went in stock on Aug 7th, just got him yesterday.

Nevermore
Did you pick this figure up at retail? Since I don't think we have a confirmed sighting yet, aside from what I posted here:
Cyberverse Roll and Change Bumblebee found at US retail
Requiem Prime
Yeesh, that is sudden. Not sure I want to give that to a kid.

The leg part of the transformation is the crazy part. The top half of rear of the truck separates from the bottom, flips around to become the front of the legs. Pretty neat to watch.

Thanks for the video. Good to see the gimmick in action.

@Black Convoy – Is this good for a news credit?
