First Look at Transformers Kingdom Deluxe Pipes

Also coming to us courtesy of fxfranz on Instagram, it seems we have our first look at the Transformers Kingdom Deluxe Pipes figure!

A redeco/retool of Deluxe Huffer, Pipes is looking very accurate to his G1 counterpart. He’s shown off in these photos compared to the aforementioned Minibot, although at this time only in robot mode.

We’ll hopefully be getting the official reveal soon, but for now check out the photos and let us know what you think on the boards.

I think it would be fun to repaint Pipes into Chuffer with a new head. Chuffer kind of has a similar chest to Pipes that I think it would work as his Earth mode. Obviously Chuffer wasn’t designed based on Huffer, and I’m only bringing it up as his name is similar to Huffer and Puffer. Going by his legs, his truck mode would be grey.

Iiiiiiiiiiii dunno, based on the belt, abs, and arms, I'd say Chuffer is clearly based on Kup.

I was able to snag one of these guys off of ebay, in time for Christmas for my son. It's a pretty awesome figure for Hasbro, though there's some design choices that could have been better.

Pipes is my son's favorite transformer, and he's been so excited for this figure. To give it the extra bit of polish for one of his biggest fans, I did some customizing and made a few accessories:

His eyes were painted red before a 3d printed transparentish red visor was installed.

3d printed blaster based on the design of the one he briefly used in G1, complete with bloosh compatibility.

All in all, turned out pretty sweet, and he loved it.

I'll have a few of these available in my Etsy shop, if any other Pipes fans want to have them.

Is pipes available to buy now from any international retailers? In preordered on BBTS, but he’s still stuck on preorder status

I can't speak for elsewhere, but here in the UK, no. I think that's pretty much true for elsewhere except possibly some far East Asian countries as they sometimes get the goodies early.

Hasbro not giving air time to wave 4 during the last fan first friday, along with giving that time to moba collabs and a doomed Kickstarter project was a dumb idea.

Originally there was only supposed to be 4 waves this year.
Wv4 wouldn't have been out till November.
Pre-orders out at SDCC, NYCC or pulsecon.
Then came covid.
Then came wv5.
Same year.
In-store dates got compressed.
On-line dates did not.
Results……
Retail first.
Pre-orders yet to come.
Hopefully we get a FFfriday before pulsecon.
But I wouldn't count your chickens.

Wave 4 was scheduled for October even before getting split into waves 4 and 5, as far back as April.

Ok, finally we have solid confirmation that Pipes indeed comes with 2 pipe guns. Chefatron only showed one but leaked Puffer had two. Most of us assumed Pipes would also have two but it’s nice to get actual confirmation.

I’d like to see someone try placing the guns in his fist holes in truck mode. Think that might look better than having them sticking out of the sides.

So what's the story about the comments? he at least changed my mind on him

so chefatron doesnt like people calling him out on this stuff so he turns off the comments to avoid criticism
