Thanks to the detective work of 2005 Board member aniline we have our first look at the upcoming Transformers Masterpiece MP-53+ Crosscut.
This figure is a retool and redeco of Mastepiece MP-53 Skids inspired by the E-Hobby exclusive Crosscut from 2002. The figure listing can be found via a search in Takara Tomy Mall website, but it’s still inactive. We can access to a small image of this new Masterpiece in robot mode. We still have no additional details on price or release date, but an official reveal should be coming soon.

Got him today from Hasbro Pulse. He's great, but my rear driver side wheel doesn't spin. Was it pinned improperly, or does anyone have any tips to get it going? I don't want to return/exchange, but for my money I need my carbots to roll!
EDIT: Looks like it's misassembled. They used one of his front wheels (different mold, has slot for arm tab) on the back so I'm guessing that's why it won't spin. Bummer

Taiho was a non-TF reference, but used a head based more on the Skids toy rather than the Sunbow head.
For my own 2 cents, if they do a toy deco Skids or any of the other Skids-colors like Burnout, etc, I'd like a more toy-styled head, like the way Loud Pedal and Cordon got more toyish heads.

The other 2 Diaclone Honda City Turbo's had the same exact head as the Diaclone/G1 Skids toy. So I assume if they were to do the other 2 Honda City Turbo releases they would use the MP-53 Skids Head

For MP, we just need Burnout (black) and red Skids. Both have Skids heads. Wow.. I’m losing it..

Crosscut and Reboost were already released, Black Skids and Red Skids have not

And hopefully they stick to that if they do them. Burnout is coming, and Crosscut is inevitable. Reboost and the red Skids are questionable.

If they go by the original Diaclone releases then they wont. Both repaints had Skid's head

Oh, that silver colour looks AMAZING. I wasn't going to get him (I have Reboost still in the box; Skids is the only one on display), but I am a sucker for sweet silver alt modes.

Indeed. We still have Burnout and the as-yet-unnamed red Skids. I just hope TT announce them before the XTB ones get close to being released…

The holomatter figure represents Kojin Ono, he tipped it into Reboost since he owned a red City in the 80s. He didn't own a silver City, so… no holomatter figure.
