Via SyFy Wire we have the announcement of a new Transformers comics mini-series by IDW: Transformers Wreckers – Tread & Circuits.
These “Right Bots For the Job” will star in their own four-issue October miniseries written by David Mariotte (Transformers vs The Terminator, Sonic The Hedgehog) and illustrated by Jack Lawrence (Transformers: Lost Light), with surging colors courtesy of Candice Han from last year’s Transformers / Back to the Future crossover.
… Transformers: Wreckers—Tread & Circuits #1 will be delivered with multiple cover variants by a trio of talented Transformers comic artists: Cover A by series artist Jack Lawrence, Cover B from Anna Malkova, and a Retailer Incentive edition showcasing artwork by Nick Roche.
A completely new Wreckers team with even a new insignia (as we can see from the images) is coming in hot this year! Click on the bar to see the mirrored images of Cover A and B, plus a 3 text less page preview. What do you think of this new comic? Share your impressions on the 2005 Board!

Casey's still a pretty good artist, I also think I enjoy his rendition of Aileron quite a bit more than the one from IDW1. These designs aren't bad!
I can't wait for Minerva to be joyless and super serious because she can't be a stronk womyn character unless she'd be a miserable person to be around IRL, good design tho.
For those who will be disingenuous and respond to that latter comment above: It's a joke at the expense of the writer because I doubt this series will be anything remarkable if most of the other IDW offerings are anything to go by.
Maybe this new rendition of the Wu-Tang Clan won't be so bad.

Turborun
Deadmasters.
Berser Car
I wonder if they purposely chose the members to include one Turbomaster, one Headmaster, one Targetmaster? If so, what plans are there for Hot Shot and Aileron, who don't fit in any "master" group?
He has his action master vehicle/exoskeleton. Maybe they want to keep the concept of "load bearer" bots from the old continuity. Small robots that can wear and control big armors.

Overreact much.

Gonna be really funny if/when Super7 makes a Circuit/Axer and it's taller than most Voyagers.
Rodimus Prime
I'm only interested because Minerva apparently is based upon a new toy.
Warpshard
Never thought of Circuit (any of the Action masters, really) as being so short. May be TFCC Circuit influencing me, but I was thinking he'd be about the same height at the carbots, or maybe even up to the top of Thunderclash's chest.

So… Did you finally watched the beast within i still heard it was an mixture in between G1 and Bayformers and I heard it was masterpiece worthy

It’s real-time storytelling this go around. Each issue is actually a single day in the war. Nothing interesting will really happen until issue #267,432.
Deepsea
Yeah I'm thinking this will depend on how long the war lasts in universe. I'm hoping that it's not millions of years again cause that was kind of silly. Also Springer is running around in this continuity isnt he? I'm not sure what that says about this.
UndeadScottsman
This is also the early days of the war. It's entirely possible that this team of Wteckers will give way to the more common conception of the team as time and attrition take their toll.
C16
I disagree with your opinion. I hope you go bankrupt.
You see how ridiculous you sound now?

I dont know anything about Jack Lawerence, but if the artwork is reflective of his actual personality. Then yeah, I imagine he would be a bit cringy.
Novaburnhilde
She's literally a shorter, dumpy Crasher with a different alt-mode and a few details missing.
Purple Heart
And Dropkick is literally Coptur!
Thank god someone who understands!
Rakzo
Eh, not really? Crasher is much taller, slender and with a meaner look.
Novaburnhilde
I believe it is, yes.
Wait a sec.
…
She's literally Crasher from Go-Bots with a different name and a few things changed, that'd be like saying Clobber from Cyberverse had a 'unique' design.
