Third party company Cang Toys have revealed, via their Weibo account, images of the color prototype of their new CY-Mini-01 Firmament (Legends Scale G1 Divebomb).
While Cang Toys is already working on their own Masterpiece scaled Predacons, they also have plans for the Legends scale market. This take on G1 Divebomb brings us a very interesting design, stylized for sure but still recognizable as the classic G1 character. We have images showing the robot and beast mode as well as the combiner arm mode and weapons. According to the information available when we reported the first gray prototype, robot mode would be around 10 cm tall and expected for release during 2021.

Lol, I just pre-ordered both today. Only figures I'm looking forward to for the next six months.

Hard part is balancing this and the Magic Square Combaticons.

I have the first run of Firmini and it has worked well for me with no problem, soI went with the initial release of Landmini and the rest of the team. We'll see hoe things go as time goes by. My consider a second run of all the mini figures of this set much later, depending. But that's just me. Do whichever feels best for you, my friend..
das_hermit
So, get the first run Landmini or wait for a second run in case there are any issues? I have a first and second run of Firmini and the first run is a little better, but both are fine.

Used my points and he is on his way for under $40 shipped. Nice.
FYI, show z has it limited to 1 person order. (I didn't preorder)
Just ordered a second set of the Firmament and Landbull and they shipped from Bombusbee. Tick tock…

Exactly what I was guessing regarding their sizes and what they do or don't come with; it just feels like they'll all balance out and should be the same price each. I would love for Fero to be cheaper, but I'm expecting a match price.

This is great news. I was hesitant at spending $60 a figure for the last five. But $45 is right in the range I am happy with. Looking forward to this set a lot as I've been enjoying legend scale combiners of MP scale the last few years.

I think we can expect Rhimini to cost the same as Landmini because it's about the same size, has the same weapons, and I assume that each of the footbots comes with one of the feet each. Kingmini and Thormini don't have any extra combiner kibble, just their weapons, so even if the torso bots are slightly larger it should balance out at the same price or cheaper. Feromini (or whatever it's called) is going to be the hardest to guess, since it has the second gestalt hand, but without the extra mass/cost of Firmini's wings, so I would expect somewhere between the original and updated cost of Firmini. Yes, I'm aware that doesn't narrow it down much.

Was checking my email before bed and got the notice, just paid mine off, now… we wait
Phase Sixer
Thanks for the heads up, paid mine off. Good price for the quality you get, I was never expecting it to be as super cheap as mini Firmini was
TheLastPrime2893
That's one impressive strategy mate. Makes you wonder just how much each of the remaining 4 members will run for. Still cheaper than their MP counterparts though and so worth it..

Nothing down and paying in full, $44.99…is not a bad price. I was hoping for closer to $40, but my fear was $50 and up which would have made me just bow out. And considering the stunts some groups are pulling with their legends figures, I have to admit this is competetive.
All said, I have $50+ in points with ShowZ, so my plan was to put in 1000 points towards each limb (saying they all hold that price) and get them into the $30ish range. $35 for for this guy will suit me just fine.

Allow me to join you guys
Literally just paid him off. Now, we wait lol

Yup. Happily paid mine off.

Just got my notice from Showz for Landmini to be paid off. 42.99 USD. I am ok with this.

While the wings look great in bird mode and I'm sure will be great on predaking. I think it's too much for bot mode so I popped the ball joints. Yes I also keep the feet reversed so it looks more botish.

I gotta say, I agree with you on the extreme styling of these guys. But the way they execute it almost flawlessly alongside the incredibly intuitive design is pretty impressive.

@Magna Jet Convoy, Landmini is already shipped out by Cang. The retailers themselves are waiting on their shipments to come in stock (ie, ShowZ, BBTS, RK, etc). ShowZ has yet to reveal their price, but I think they're waiting until (or a bit before) their shipment arrives before revealing their price for him.
As for the official release order of the 5 remaining figures, with Landmini already released, that only leaves 4. Rhimini is next and he'll be released next month. By the looks of things, Thormini may be following behind possibly in May. I was recently informed by Cang that the last 2 members, Kingmini and Feromini won't be seen until the 2nd half of this year (anywhere between June to December). But not sure which of those 2 will be next in line after Thormini is released. I'm gonna guess that it'll be Kingmini and then Feromini, but only Cang knows. We're just left guessing as of right now..
