Courtesy of 2005 Boards member transform75 we can share for new a nice set of in-hand images of the new Transformers Generations Selects G2 Ramjet.
This is a G2-inspired redeco of the War For Cybertron Ramjet mold. We are sure collectors who grew up with G2 toys will really appreciate the color scheme of this release. While a great G2 homage, the figure still has the G1 Decepticon insignia on his wings. This mold is available in France as an Amazon France exclusive, but you can still pre-order it via our sponsors links below.
Check out all the images, as well as transform75 video review (in French), after the break. Let us know your impressions on this figure!

Speaking of France, where does one get TF stuff there?

I've also thought for the longest time now that the BW2 versions would make nice deco's for potential G2 repaints of Thrust and Dirge. And Armada Thrust is also a great deco to use.
But I still would love to get that unreleased G2 Ramjet with digital blue camo.
But I like sets of three for seekers. So if they release three version of each, I'm likely game.
Thundershot
That’s actually a good idea. BW2 Thrust and Dirge (with new heads and can also be reused for MW repaints) and each set includes a retooled Dinobot or Waspinator into Thrustol and Dirgegun.

Would like to see something with the other two cone head molds instead of another Ramjet repaint. Maybe Thrust in the actual Armada color scheme. SS version is just a generic green deco.
Hoping the Seeker mold gets resused for the Beast Wars 2 Thrust and Dirge. Could Probably pack them with their beast mode forms too.

Well, since he's out in Europe I guess it's time to make up my mind. Would prefer a purple version of the regular ER seeker mould but this would also be nice.
The Ramjet of this topic is a modern version of the version released in G2, a 1993/1994 release
Bitstream? Why? Hotlink was the purple one, bitstream a bit blueish-green.
I don't care if it they call it SG just as long as they release it. Would make a great set of all three G2 versions of this mould.
And with this deco, I would use him as Bitstream.

Ah,ok. Thanks.

Scramjet?
But I do like the proposed Blacklight. I might actually go with that.
Suboptimal Optimus
Right, my bad.

No, G2 Ramjet was released. It's G2 Sandstorm that never made it past the prototype phase.
Suboptimal Optimus
Its based off a toy that never made it past prototype.

I don\'t remember this deco from G2 but it looks enough like the filler seekers in Devastation that I would get one if it ends up in front of me.
GizmoTron
Ramjet II.

Glad I PO'd at IDT. Black, purple and teal? *swoon*

Hasbro Pulse UK emailed to say mine has been pushed back until the end of August. Will be worth the wait though
Mister D
I’m hoping Toyhax gives us a way to hide the name. I was thinking Blacklight for a name if I opt not to use Bitstream.

For real; the sticker details really made that figure complete (I'd say above and beyond even). And I agree on tiger Grimlock; I'd love to see that and the G2 blue which quite frankly I've always been fond of.
DevilGalvatron
Sad all of those sticker details on the Club Ranjet aren\'t present. Looks a lil bland. Bought anyway. More G2! Give us that sweet yellow/teal tiger stripe concept Grimlock
Metalwario64
Sandstorm? Dusted?
Gee Won 1984
(sigh) I hope HasbroPulse sends me my G2 Ramjet soon.

Dude I too am really hoping for a G2 Starscream next at the very least–the grey/grey camo colors would look great on this mold, and the inner neon orange is also really well suited to this design I think. I know it's unlikely, but I would like it too if maybe they threw in a neon orange battle master that could stand in for his "voice box" that was included with the original.
Yeah, I think Blackout has to be coming at some point in the future since they did Sandstorm. Easy money for Hasbro.
