Via the Fanstoys Masterpiece Facebook group we can share for you images of the gray prototype of Fans Toys FT-53 Parkour (Masterpiece Scale G1 Cliffjumper).
This another great alternative for your Masterpiece scale collection. FT-53 Parkour is a cartoon-accurate rendition of G1 Cliffjumper in both modes. Robot mode looks solid with a compact backpack while the alt mode features opening doors and alternate water skis. The figure includes Cliffjumper’s gun and his iconic bazooka.
We still have no concrete information about price or release date, but you can now click on the bar to see the mirrored images on this news post and then share your impressions on the 2005 Board!

Finally opened Cliffy, and he's perfect.
Just having to move MP Bee around to rearrange the space, WOW!, what a piece of junk. FT, please accounce a Bumblebee soon.
Bruticon
Yes
Edit: After this guy and powerglide I no longer have faith that FTs can properly paint red so when/if they produce a Windcharger I'm not going to pre-order.
Splendic
I got one with mis-painted hood panels \ feet.
TCP told me to contact FT customer service. FT replied :
"sorry, this is common issue for all copy."
I haven't really been following the thread…. Is this truly a problem among most copies?

I love the figure and think its extremely well done! I just wish the chest had the proportions in the cartoon, cause currently he has the proportions of Bumblebee. Ya know with the roof of the car taking up the entire torso, but Cliffjumper's was actually a bit shorter and even had small little rearview mirrors!

Had these photos on the back burner for a bit.
I really like the figure, but I came across some of issues mentioned in thread with the mismatched red and loose right elbow.
Still I'm enjoying this guy!

My screw cover is pushed in so firnly, I can't get anything in the gap.
Sorry… in the UK.
Junkmech
MV Steve gave you the right info.
If you're in the US and don't want the old damaged face, I'd love to take it off your hands.
MV Steve
So that screw cover actually has the notched edge fully exposed on the inside with a little gap that you can use a spudger, tweezers, pin, or blade and with a slight push it comes right out to expose the screw.

So, I got a replacement face through today, but only the face… no helmet.
Removed the head, but there's a problem. I have no idea how to get the old face out. The helmet itself seems to be made of three molded pieces… front, back and (I think) the screw cover; however, that tiny screw cover piece is so tightly inserted, I can't get any purchase on it either with a spudger or my tiniest screwdriver.
Any ideas?

Pledge floor polish.
ComradeKatya
I'll see if I can find some, hard to get the stuff in the UK.

I had the same issue. Even took apart one of the arms to see if it was a screw, and the elbow is a pin joint, so Kiki or Future is the only real option.
ComradeKatya
Kind of awkward to get at the joints even sadly
imest
I got it! Sorry, all this batch have this issue, you could use some future to tighten it.
