I mean, if anyone's that paranoid about it they could just open it up while they're still in the store to check everything over, that way in the event some dastardly evil-doer has replaced all the toys with a banana they can stroll over to customer service and be like "yo, can I maybe get one that hasn't been Toy Swapped?".
Or, y'know, just buy from a reputable online seller where that wouldn't even be a problem.

The set just became way more desirable. Hopefully now we can get a couple more uses out of the VW mold, like Bee in "classic" yellow and maybe red with Cliffjumper head (since they made the Cliffjumper version in yellow with Bee head last year).

the In Demand Toys facebook page says they'll have the new Legacy 4-Pack on friday. this is the only topic i felt was appropriate to post this rather than make a new one. so we'll see Goldbug this friday

Look at what's available…Tigatron and the two pack. The two sets that were the least desired.
If this was a new production run we'd be seeing all four of them, but it's only two and the two that people wanted the least.
I would say it's even more likely the Worlds Collide pack at EE is also unsold stock. Remember that the set came out when the global shipping bottleneck was really kicking up it's effects. What probably happened is that product probably managed to get out to some Targets, but the majority of it was bottlenecked and delayed and delayed and delayed. By the time the items cleared the port and enough drivers scrounged up to distribute them, it's a year later and Target just doesn't want them anymore. Come in Entertainment Earth to buy up this stock and sell them.

Well the golden disk stock started popping up at retail in Australia a few months ago here so its still being produced
and the worlds collide set seems to be shelfwarming places
all are dead
I wonder in that situation if its just leftover inventory. Considering the preoders say "late june" and well… its late june… makes me think BBTS just bought leftover stock.
