Via C – LAB on Youtube we have new in-hand images of the Transformers Studio Series SS-75 Revenge Of The Fallen Jolt.
This new Deluxe Jolt figure is designed to be movie-accurate in robot mode while keeping the realistic Chevrolet Volt alt mode. Robot mode shows a great difference compared to the two previous Deluxe Jolt figures. It comes with a pair of electro-whips that can be attached into Jolt’s hands/claws or in the sides of the car mode. We had already seen the packaging of this figure some days ago, but we are still waiting for a official reveal.
Check out all the images on this news post, as well as C-LAB video review showing the transformation sequence, after the jump. Click on the discussion link below and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

hey can you pm me proof?

They literally have more screen time then Optimus in rotf, yet hasbro is yet to touch them. When will this oppressive behavior stop

I shall keep the small flame of hope for SS Twins alive.
Hasbro did SS Wheelie, Brains, and Scrotumstator. I can't believe they won't touch the Twins with the SS stick.

The day we get real ss twins is the day world peace becomes attainable
NOBLExGAMER
Yeah I heard, which is nice but I'm holding out for a SS Voyager 2-Pack.

Devil savior is making non transformable ones that are in scale

Looking great, while I know Wreckgar39 said the Skids and Mudflap supposedly will never happen I hope we do get them just to round out the RotF Autobots.

Yup,
definitely an articulation boycott for me. No matter how much I love a figure, missing thigh swivels are an ABSOLUTE no no

They're doing this because so many of the movie designs cheat worse than Beast Wars Dinobot. Especially starting with DOTM. There's only two options within traditional Generations price points: either prioritize having as little kibble as possible (which will result in at least one mode being very inaccurate), or aim for accuracy in both modes, and dumping most of the alt mode onto the back of the robot mode.
Given that Jolt's design is probably one of the biggest cheats in ROTF (thought not half as bad as what was to come in the following movies), I think they've done a reasonable job. the only thing I wish they had done is shove the thigh kibble onto the back. However, the way it's attached is at least more aesthetically pleasing than in a lot of other toys. Honestly, I think my bigger issue is the lack of paint applications – especially on the head. Jolt clearly got the short end of the stick this year.
Though I suppose that's understandable from a budgetary standpoint, given most folks outside of the hardcore fanbase probably don't even know who Jolt is, and even many of those that do probably haven't seen this character model:

The more I look at Jolt, he looks more like a blue Crosshairs. And its all because of that hip kibble.
Shadow25
On the easy end would be more dynamic whips they could easily bundle with weapons for other characters like the Blackout / Bee / Sentinel set.
On the more ambitious end would be redesigned car doors that fold up better along the hips.

octobotimus
An entirely new figure
Gee Won 1984
I wonder if DNA Design is cooking up something for SS Jolt.

I think this is just a casualty of continually shrinking paint budgets. 07 Bumblebee didn't have painted Camaro logos either, nor a painted rear bumper.
Just more for the consumer to do!
Angry Camaro
People are concerned about the robot mode being slightly inconsistent yet the Volt mode doesn't have any gold bowties, nor does it say "VOLT" on the rear.

So far I love what I see
One thing though. Can anyone see if he does have thigh swivels? I can't tell 100% from the images. No matter how much I like this, if he doesn't have thigh swivels it's another boycott for me, like SS Barricade
