Via Collider YouTube we have a new 2:05 minute trailer of the upcoming War For Cybertron: Kingdom cartoon. Several new key scenes and a better look at the Maximals, Predacons, several other characters and we can even catch a glimpse of something HUGE.
Kingdom premieres on Netflix on July 29th, so don’t miss the end of the War For Cybertron trilogy!
Not much left to say, watch the video below and our screencaps gallery after the break. After that, you can share your impressions on the 2005 Board!

It's more grimderp at this point.

I think the thing that bugs me so much about this series, is it had soooo much wonderful potential and it just really really disappointed me
WolverineDragon
If there's one thing I can praise Kingdom for is the fact that Tigatron and Airazor will be more involved with the group then they did with the 90s cartoon, were they only helped out sporadically in season 1 only for them to disappear in Season 2.
skwonderfactory
This honestly looks decent. Sure, the voice acting is iffy at times but the animation looks great and the story could be quite intriguing.
Led4thehed2
I watch this trailer and I j*zz in my pants!
WolverineDragon
Good point!

If Waspinator really isn't in this show, than we can safely say that the universe in fact doesn't hate Waspinator.
ArkinDotWav
Or they'll just neuter the very aspect people like about the character and make him a grumbling grunt just like barricade, Skytread, and all the other Decepticons. I could see that happening too.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if they decided "nah, Megatron, Dinobot, and Blackarachnia are enough. Just make a million clones of Scorponok to make up the difference."
WolverineDragon
Why Universe hate Waspinator?
Necromaster
Personally I think it's hilarious that G1 Scorponok shouts "I AM THE LAST OF THE SCORPONOKS" and now we have a bunch of his BW counterpart running around as Predacon mooks.
Also, calling it now: Waspinator will not be appearing in this show due to 1: budget and 2: Waspinator being a comic relief character. Adding him would break grimdark, and we can't have that.
RazorclawX
Beast Scorponok being a generic grunt isn't without precedent. The Beast Wars Returns manga had the Scorpion Corps that were drones under Quickstrike (not that Quickstrike amounted to anything in the manga either)
Yes, the same manga that made Rattrap into Pikachu and Airazor into a a Gatchaman cosplay girl.
Chris McFeely
Well, logically, it's probably going to be brought to life by the AllSpark, ain't it?
Not that logic may be the best thing to apply to this series, but.
Makarov
First two series were really fun, giving one of the best Megatron depictions we've ever gotten onscreen, this looks great.
Ramberk Magnus
I mean, you're making a stink about it– isn't that enough?
Cardion
If this was Cyberverse, they could do 10-20 stories worth of plot within the Kingdom runtime, and do it well.
WolverineDragon
For the record I never cared about scale accuracy, also it kinda makes sense to have them scaling well with the autobots if you want them to fight against their foes.
Neko-bot77
Shouldn't the "scale must be maintained!!!!" people be making a stink about it? Well, i guess it's ok, the beasts are "fwum the fwuture" after all. UWU!
WolverineDragon
This isn’t set during the 90s cartoon. It’s a new take on BW. So they took some creative liberties with the cast.
Steeljaw
Yay another six episodes of terrible voice acting, garbage writing, nonsensical plots that go no where, the worst Optimus prime ever, and a lot of disappointment.
The music and animation is nice though.
Necromaster
In the original canon, yes. But for the purposes of Kingdom they've been upscaled (and also the animators are lazy so they wouldn't have bothered anyways.)
