Thanks to In Demand Toys on Facebook, we have images of an upcoming release in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line, dubbed Origin Bumblebee. This release appears to be a deluxe class figure with an Cybertronian alt mode resembling Bumblebee’s first appearance in the Generation One cartoon. The figure also comes with four energon rods accessary looking like the ones Bumblebee and Wheeljack attempted to transport in the first episode. According to In Demand Toys, it seems this figure might be released in the United Kingdom in August. No information on the price point of the figure yet, but we will bring you updated information as it becomes available. What do you think of this unique version of a Generations Bumblebee? Let us know on the boards after the jump!

I made a stand for alt mode! Now it looks like it's hovering. And be honest. You did not buy this for the robotmode
Check it out in my etsy shop.

Just got my one, awesome figure!
To be fair, the transformation to robot mode is very enjoyable.

Yeah, mine has some tolerance issues. When transforming him, some parts pop off. I have to apply pressure on the points to prevents that from happening. I guess I could try sanding it down a bit.
Other than that, I like the figure. Really nice engineering for cybertron mode.
Kibble on the legs doesn't bother me.

Wow I totally called this happening. I'm surprised they went with the BB / Spike version instead of the world's collide one, but not all that surprised…. Still a dick move regardless.

I would point that out to toy manager, they may call the recycle/waste and sell to you for a couple of bucks. Literally a couple of dollars.
Fafnir72
That's the not Bumper BB! Seems like no one wanted him.

I hate it when people do this! Jerks! Saw this today at my local Target. And it was more than one like this.

This guy is pretty amazing. Such a shame they have not done wheeljack and Jazz from that first episode as well. I really would love to have them now that my kids have this Bumble Bee

In Demand Toys, another UK retailer, also listed preorders today, for November/December. PRE-ORDER Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Deluxe Origin Bumblebee
Mardroid
I thought this guy was only available in Target, USA.
I just checked my online UK go to store…. and here he is available for preorder! Yoink! as they say. A nice surprise. A bit of a long wait (December), but spreading out the cost is no bad thing.

As far as I can tell the show was made for a few people to get a paycheck.
Energon_Skywarp
I was skeptical, but the Cybertronian version finally being a production model sold me so I used the Target app and bought it sight unseen.
Not gonna lie, when I saw the size of the figure and the price I paid, I was not pleased and didn't think I was getting value for the price.
But wow, did this little guy ever prove me wrong!!
Articulation is outstanding, transformation is fun (except those little flaps keep popping off behind his ankle), and it's easily jumped to the upper tier of my favorite TFs.
I'm also glad to see I'm not the only one who is enjoying this figure!
