Third party company Magic Square Toys have revealed, via their Weibo account, an extensive gallery of their MS-B31 Brobdingnag (Legends Scale G1 Ultra Magnus).
Magic Square is bringing a new take on G1 Ultra Magnus for the competitive Legends scale market. The images reveal a more robust and blocky design compared to the old Magic Square MB-04 Transporter. A very promising project that will stand 13.3 cm tall. According to the information shared on the Weibo post, these parts would work like an armor for Magic Square Light Of Justice MS-B18W white version variant which will be sold separately.

The white elbows worked out pretty well.
The battle station, not so much. But I guess it's better than hiding it in a box? Maybe not.

That covers the shoulders and thighs. Neither of which ever really bothered me. I know the shoulders bother some, and in close up pics, they do look pretty bad. But on a shelf, from normal viewing distances, I don't even notice them.
It's the overall shape of MS which I think looks much better. Nothing in particular I can really define, I just like the shape better.
In preparation for MS-B31, I cut some white vinyl to make Optimus elbows white.

Since this is on sale and I have an extra MS Optimus (and it doesn't seem to matter what color the inner bot is?), I decided to grab one from ShowZ. I initially passed because of all the extra partsforming nonsense (and sold my white Prime of Justice to boot). But then I realized, I don't need to ever transform him, and he does look better than Newage. Does anyone have a pic at hand of the two side by side?

I was considering buying that armor too but kinda useless if I don't have the right prime to put in it. By right I mainly mean model, not so much color although the white would be preferable. If you look a little further on Aliexpress and don't mind using the gray/sleep/dead Prime, I saw that one for $39. I figured I'd give it a little longer to see if I can track down a white or Ghostbusters prime with a more reasonable price (because those two links are more than its worth in my opinion) and if I have no luck, go with the gray and either live with it or put a little paint on him. After all, he is almost completely covered that even when using the brighter red/blue standard Prime, its hardly noticeable.

To be honest, if it wasn't for the red biceps, I'd say standard Prime fits and matches so much better…

White Prime is of course the go to Magnus bot, but I stuffed Metallic Prime inside the Magnus armor, so I can display white Prime. Works for me

Thank you for the links. You know what's funny, the one thing that really throws me off isn't even the price (I expect it to be high, at thist point), but the vendor's feedback, which is apparently below average in reliability and communication.
If anyone in Europe may consider selling their white Prime, keep in mind I'm not afraid of the late tax.

i think it's you that needs to chill out a bit… it's JUST a suggestion. everyone knows the "proper" prime is the white magnus one. but as it seems the original white prime is pretty much unavailable everywhere, or so stupidly expensive that it negates whatever "sale" price he got the armour kit from ShowZ, the ghostbuster prime is the next best logical "option" for him to consider.
