Thanks to @morgan_dfx on Twitter, we have what may be our first look at Studio Series Thrust. A redeco of the previous Studio Series Starscream, this should help in filling out the Seeker ranks from the Bumblebee movie. This version of Thrust is a little homage to the character’s appearance in “Armada” and even features new sculpting to give the appearance of a “conehead”. Rumors among the 2005 Boards are that he is to be an exclusive to a specific retailer, but nothing is confirmed yet.
Update: Even more images now showing the alt mode and comparison shots next to Studio Series Bumblebee Movie Blitzwing.
Check out the images after the jump!

"Oh we based Shatter and Dropkick on two of the most famous Go-bots." Missed opportunity to do Cy-kill 0/10
Megatron Unicronus
Off topic, but: Did the prime day Amazon truck Optimus ever get revealed? Or was that all a hoax?

The main villians of the movie are based off the Gobots(something Travis Knight mentioned several times) Crasher and Coptur for fucks sake. If you don’t know that, your the one who doesn’t do your research.
Shatter was named Fracture in her concept art.

Her colors are based directly off of Fracture’s movie figure.

Fracture herself, was a homage to the Gobots character Crasher, who was partnered with Cop-Tur, who turned into a Blue Helicopter.

Now who else turns into a blue Helicopter??????

Watching you people cry that Thrust isn’t an intended homage when you don’t even realize who the two main characters are based off of, and how deep a cut that is, is absolutely painful. But the again, I see people on these forums say that characters like Hot House and Ironworks aren’t obscure, so I know you’ll believe whatever you want regardless of it makes any sense.

Why do people think it's an accidental rather than an intentional reference exactly? It's in a movie, it got past a rigorous design phase in which I'm sure there were people saying thrust should be red but we got the green armada reference anyway. It honestly seems to me like an accidental reference would be far less likely than an intentional one.
Yeezus
I might be few pages late to this thread, however I would I completely agree with what has been said before referring to all the "references" we see as the fans here and there are nothing but results of rushed due diligence research. There is no way it is an actual Armada Thrust reference, it’s is reference to a 10 second google images search. It’s painful to release how these people are completely careless with what they are doing and how their small mistakes make people happy, or judging by this thread not really "happy".
And I’m saying this while being a diehard Armada fan who would do inaudible things for MP Armada Starscream. People who got mad that this character named "Thrust" is not in burgundy colors therefore is not representing a completely characterless deception from G1 should not get mad as it is not an Armada Thrist either. It’s just a result of a 10 second google search.

Ugh, thats a good point. :/ I had been hoping that Mini-cons would be sold in multipacks for either $15, $20, or $25. Or even just packed in with Voyagers and Leaders. But with the failing of the Micromasters… it’s not looking to good for them.
That said, a new figure of an Armada character does not need to include their Mini-con to be complete. A Hot Shot is a Hot Shot, Blurr is Blurr, etc. If they included Mini-con ports, that would be enough.

Yeah this is part of why I think Hasbro doesn't really need to be convinced that UT will sell, I think Walmart is the one that needs convincing. Also if this is the one thing holding everything up, it means Hasbro's going to do their best to give Armada the kingdom treatment. Dare I hope for the minicon weapons?
To be honest though, I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro just wasn't really considering it lmao
Rodimus Prime
Yep. I don't remember what interview, because I was mostly like "oh, well" and moved on. I only had the thought that it may have played a role in the UT plans last night.

Yes bayverse movies might be utter shit, but you still have to remember that a whole lot of people like me grew up with them just like some of you guys grew up with ut, beast wars and G1. You cannot deny at least the first 4 films while being quite shit brought in a lot of money. Yes it’s very unfortunate that ut fans and armada fans have got jack shit, but shitting on stuff that you don’t like ain’t gonna help that.
kaijuguy19
Seriously?! That stinks. Are they even aware about how many people really do want the UT to have a come back? Really reeks for the Armada fans especially since they seem to be getting jack squat for the series 20th anniversary.
At this point I hope they have better luck by the time 2027 comes along for Armada's 25th anniversary like how the BW fans got lucky for the show's 25th anniversary being celebrated after being hosed for it's 20th anniversary. Likewise with Animated.

I remember it being said that hasbro had plans to continued the micro masters line in Kingdom but when Hasbro showed Walmart the new Kingdom lineup during presentation – Walmart said no and refused to stock any more of the Micro masters due to low sales. Walmart is the biggest retailer in US and one of Hasbro’s biggest customers. Hasbro had to go back to drawing board and came up with the Core class instead.
Purple Heart
It was mentioned by an a member of the design team in an interview, though it had long been speculated due to the fact that a lot of stores were not stocking them at Walmart dropped them altogether. Things only stores do when things stop selling.

Said by who, though? Some leaker again? Because I doubt the usual "he tell me" is as trustworthy of a source when it comes to sales data.
Plus Titan Masters were only a part of 2/3rds of their trilogy before they were done, same as Micromasters. They ran their course as Hasbro just has finite plans for most of this stuff.
f-primusunicron
the micromasters were nice but the targetmasters were bad in my opinion
