A couple of days ago, news came by of a Casting Call Sheet requesting background extras for Transformers 7; who are also willing to change their appearances to the styles of 1992.
Today, we have obtained another such sheet. But this time for vehicles.
Rough translation from French:
“Urgent!
Need vehicles from 1994 for a mega American shoot in Montreal. Your vehicle could be in the next biggest Hollywood movie.”
It’s interesting that once again we are hearing of the early 1990s. This news could solidify the fact that the 7th Transformers live-action movie will indeed take place in 1992/1994.
Such notices aren’t uncommon for motion pictures, as they are one of the fastest ways to obtain period-specific vehicles at short notice.
During Transformers: Bumblebee, vehicle extras from 1987 were requested but was announced not to bring body colors of yellow, red, and blue. Thus avoiding color clashes with the main characters Bumblebee, Shatter, and Dropkick respectively.

That's definitely a new truck and not the same model they used in the Bee movie.

IT IS HIM.

Oh. Ok. Just asking though. But a purple megatron? Are you referring to the hero megatron action figure or an armada version of megatron?
Magnum Dongus
I’d prefer to finally get a red Sideswipe in live action, but I’d love to see G2 Jazz and a green Megatron. Although if we are doing a green and purple Megatron, I’ve always wanted to see this fella in live action.

Ok, but with Megatron keeping the G2 color scheme in tank mode? Along with sideswipe keeping the G2 color scheme as a black Lamborghini? And Jazz keeping some G2 decals? Just a thought.

Speak for yourself. I miss those 80's Caprices and Caddys. When the cars got too small, I got into trucks. Trucks are the new cruisers.

I wish that was still true. Cars are way too big these days. I miss how small '90s cars were.

Not sure what you mean by that, but ok. In my opinion 1990's was when cars started loosing personality. They kept getting smaller and smaller and rounder and rounder.

Agreed on that. I don't spend too much time on it.

“Stanning” is an actual term people use, mainly on twitter communities. The best way I could describe the difference between it and simping is that you’d probably refer to a guy as a simp for something while a stan would more likely be used to refer to an insane female fan of something.
Think the people who are absolutely obsessed with k-pop boy bands, or some female Marvel/Star Wars “girl power” type characters, or sometimes Minecraft YouTubers (for some reason).
A good identifier is the use of whoever they’re stanning as their pfp and plenty of heart emojis

I honestly thought Volcanicus was a decent improvement at least far over the Beast.
And to be fair, Grimstone was a Power Core Combiner.
