This comes off more like click baiting than realistic.

Here's another take on things, a bit more realistic

This joke gets funnier every time IDW releases a fiscal report.

I dunno, I thought Wynonna Earp was pretty good as a TV show. Which meant it immediately got canceled. (Yes, it was an IDW property.)

Let’s hope they don’t ruin any momentum with garbage tv shows…

Is this sarcasm ?
I wouldn't say they have no passion per se, it's just that said passion doesn't mean it's going to be good
So producing these comics is more expensive than the licensing rights ?
I dunno man, there's more than one example of IDW stuff jumping out of the comics for better or for worse
Huh, has Hasbro ever approached DC besides that cancelled JL crossover ?
well, not everyone reads these comics the same way…

ok but not for the long term, they need to do more with digital sales and it's lacking.

Let me resume (I'm an expert) :
IDW : We produce tons of horrible comics, with no passion whatsoever mind you, and we'll continue to do so as long as the licensing rights costs less than producing them horrible comics. We know they have absolutely ZERO impact on the future of any of Hasbro's brands but DC and Marvel can't be bothered by any of this so you're stuck with us. Enjoy $3.99 worth of mediocrity!
The end.

So how good or bad is this?
Blitz.
Thought I'd cut out the parts directly talking about IDW Publishing as they're the division behind the comics and it'll save people some scrolling (not that the rest isn't interesting it's just not as relevant). Not much in the way of information if you want to know how well a particular comic is doing sadly.
