Via Baidu we have some images of the gray prototypes of Magic Square Toys Legends Scale Longhaul & Scavenger.
These are the next Magic Square Constructicons following Mixmaster and Scrapper. We have some small pics showing both Longhaul and Scavenger in robot mode. As we can see from the images, the design takes inspiration from elements of the G1 cartoon and G1 toys. We still have no concrete information of price or release date, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates.

Yeah, they're typical magic square in that there is a learning curve, but everything feels intuitive and safe when you've been through it a couple of times.
Obviously that will take a while with 6 pseudo-triplechangers, but I think you can be sure that it will be worth that time.

yeah i don't think it was that hard to transform and put these together or taking them back apart. the first time took a while because i was watching it on a youtube vid and i wanted to make sure none of the tabs got missed or didn't seat properly. but after that it is a breeze.
i have always been very dexterous with my hands so who really knows. but i get it and to each their own. i am just glad we have such amazing little figs these days.

I've mentioned it before but I'd love to see a community speedrun challenge for taking these guys from vehicle to combined mode. When I had my copy, I was able to do it in 20-30 minutes on a good day!

The first is always grusome in the worst possible way, but as you loosen him up and get used to it you'll be able to passively do it as a 45-1hr mission if you're watching a movie in the background. I always start and then regret it halfway through lol

After an awfully long short month (29 days my butt), Devvy finally arrived and…
Eurgh… I'll never doubt when people say a transformation is a pain the ass… That said, he cuts one hell of a rug.
MrLemming
I've kind of restricted myself to sticking as close to the Marvel comics as possible to keep my precious shelf space somewhat safe at least. The Cang set and the Iron Factory Grimlock and Lio Convoy are just designs I like which is going to be difficult to get many in legends simply because most companies are going G1.
/edit
Oof… Despite ordering him with enough time to ship before CNY and shelling out another $10 for upgraded shipping, it's looking like Devy won't ship yet.
Primetimez
That was basically my first set at Legends scale and my first Magic Square figures. Trust me, you're going to need some shelf space.

Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. I have bought the G1 MS Devastator from B3 after dipping my toe into legends things with Cang Toys' mini Predaking.

Does anyone have comparisons with the Undersized CW KO? in both combined mode and the individual bot modes if possible
Mechman42
True, the NA car mode is excellent, and it’s certainly a product of its time. But on a shelf with almost any other NA or MS he sticks out like a sore thumb, at least in robot mode.
LoserBroadside
I'll gently push back on this. I have both the NA and the Magic Square. For its time, the NA Jazz was EXCELLENT. The robot mode was solid as a toon-version of Jazz as NA's smaller scale, and the leg transformation was some next-level stuff. Added to that, the deluxe painted version still has the nicer care mode. The MS version has the benefit of coming out several years later, after MS began to produce more complex figures (compared to, say, their equally great but much simpler Trailbreaker). Even with those benefits, the shaping of the NA car mode is still nicer (MS has struggled with real-world vehicle modes IMO for a while. It wasn't until Hound that I really felt like they nailed one. And then not again until Mirage). The clear windows on the newer MS Jazz help a LOT, but I'm still not sure if I'll be able to sell the NA deluxe version simply because of how good that car mode is.
Mechman42
Yeah, NA Jazz is definitely a stinker. If it wasn’t for the size difference i’d get the MS.
ramparter
For starters, they will be 10-20$ cheaper. For some of us that is quite important.
RameezTheElite
After holding off on MS for a while, I just started getting into their more recent stuff. I'm going to skip out on some of the carbots as I already have all of the NA releases to date, but my rule of thumb is to buy an MS figure of a character that is either objectively superior to the Newage version (e.g. Jazz) or a figure that offers something completely different than the Newage counterpart. I just bought MS Devastator, coming in the mail this week, so that satisfies the latter rule. I also picked up MS Toon Gears and Windcharger for a great price so that'll scratch my itch for figures that NA hasn't gotten to and some fun desk bots to mess around with

Yeah, Grim is great but you can feel his age (which is insane considering he’s not even two years old.)
They’ll have a harder time with sludge and swoop, and probably one or both others depending on how fast they can get them out the gate.
Come to think of it, if they have them all ready, they could just be relying on speed – drop the full set before NA is done and some people will bite just to complete their set quickly.
lord ginrai
It’ll be interesting to see for sure. One thing is they’ll probably all include all their weapons.
Grimlock can definitely be improved upon. Personally, the main thing I’d want from Grimlock is a panel on his robot mode chest that rotates, so you can hide his Autobot symbol in dino mode.
Mechman42
It’s funny that Grim was in a lot of ‘best of 2022’ lists and then the other two dinobots so thoroughly blew him out of the water.
Chrischzz
Uhuh.. Although Grimlock can use an update though. If MS's version is any better, It will be mine,
Mechman42
I am very curious what (if anything) MS will do to separate their dinobots from the NA set. NA has such a head start and are so good that it feels like MS might need something besides just ‘here’s the dinobots in nylon with twelve sliders per toy’.
The most obvious gimmick would be Volcanicus, which would be so cool but will never happen.
Chrischzz
Sometimes it's too hard not to get both. This one of those..
And I fear the worst for the Dinobots.
