Via Kreemzek Review on Instagram, we have our first look at the new Transformers Studio Series 86 Wreck-Gar.
Wreck-Gar was rumored from some time ago, and we finally have a look at this all new Voyager mold of the Junkion leader. While the image has a color filter, it shows a great cartoon-accurate Wreck-Gar in all his glory. We are yet to see clean images and the alt mode, but this figure is sure promising.

So Wreck-Gar….I love him…but have one qualm with him.
His hip ratchets are too spaced apart, so I can either only have him standing straight, or at too wide of an A-stance. It's not a huge issue by any means, but does make posing his legs less elegant than they could be.

Same with me. I was not a fan of the character in Transformers the movie. However, in hand SS86 Wreck-Gar is a way big improvement in all aspects from the Titans Return Wreck-Gar. I sold my TR Wreck-gar to recoup back some money.

Yeah that’s the exact reason I’ve kept them so far so guess that makes sense to continue to do so. I’ve never been a big army builder collector so it had me thinking but for junkions that makes sense

I would keep them. Junkions aren't supposed to all be identical, and the RTS and CW look different enough that they won't stand out as the same guy. Can never have too many Junkions!

Got mine in yesterday, this guy is absolutely fantastic. Now the question is do I keep my old RTS, Combiner Wars Wreckgar and RTS scrapheap as a junkion army or move those on for another studio series Junkyard?

Since Amazon seems to be sending him out to other folks in those damn padded envelopes, he needs as much protection as he can get….

Yeah, mine had the same nipple-protector. A good idea given all it would take is one good bump to dislodge, or even bend, the cannons.

Found an interesting packaging variant this morning.
When I got my first Wreck-Gar, I thought it was missing a chest cannon, but it had just fallen off and was in the box. The plastic window must have pushed in and caused this.
Found one this morning and the potential issue is now fixed:

They added a buffer between the chest and window.

Yup got mine today from Amazon. I like this guy but I'm not sure how I feel about him compared to the RTS version. I'ma need more time with the new version I think.

Mine arrived today. As I'm still working I can't even open the delivery box but I'm looking forward to him.
In addition to wreck gar, Road rage, g2 megs, gnaw, core dracodon, soundwave and slag with Daniel also showed up.
