Via 2005 Board member Idarmed, we have our first in-hand images of the new Transformers Kingdom Core Class Dracodon.
Dracondon is part of the new Kingdom Wave 3 Core Class together with Soundwave. Dracodon is a Maximal who is a direct “radioactive” green redeco of Core class Vertebreak. The figure features some new dark gold paint apps. While just a redeco, the gamma-style color makes Dracodon “shine” in your display.
Check out all the images on this news post, as well as Idarmed video review, after the jump. Click on the discussion link below and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I didn't pay much attention to Vertebreak or Dracodon… but I just saw in the description that that Dracodon is radioactive (and green).
That spoke to me for some reason and I immediately ordered one!

Requiem Prime
It took me awhile but I finally get why I love the fossilizers so much better.
Weaponizers were cute, but didn't have the right energy I was looking for. There are people who turn into weapons on their own, yet breaking down into a bunch of guns feel lesser than it should.
Modulators were just weird if you weren't into the build-a-city for the minicons vibe.
Fossilizers just make sense. Breaking into pieces and reassembling like nothing happened; rearranging into weird shapes, or combining into horrors; other people grabbing your bones and using them as adhoc weapons. That's just skeleton stuff. It's been around forever.
Chaos Muffin
Hobby Lobby has glow paint. DecoArt was the brand i used for a Skeletor.
TriBlurr
He's a cute little snot gremlin. I like em.
Dinobot Snarl
It\'s a radioactive zombie, shoot it from space.
Rakzo
Weirdly enough, I think a couple of wings would make this release much better.
Hope there's eventually an upgrade for that.

Adorable. Somehow Dracodon makes that green work.
beastfanboi
Oh I thought that they were green because "it's never ogre"
protohuman
Re-mineralization, they were opal-ized as fossils through digenesis. Probably has radium and other radioactive element decaying or some form of phosphorescence.
beastfanboi
Why are the dracodon\'s green
Zoobzoo
That pic with prime reminded me why I wish they stuck with the yellow eyes or they coulve painted the around the eyes/nose like the siege version. At least the Netflix version did the blue eyes properly.
RacerCheetor
It must be referential or perhaps some discarded color, remember in the arts of the blister/boxes of BW also had them, such as Tigatron orange, Razorbeast with two guns, Polar Claw grizzly, Scorponok orange, etc.
Paxtin
I don't know if robots would have to worry about such things.
Unless he's giving off specifically high amounts of energon radiation, then stasis lock might be an issue.
Gee Won 1984
A lot of Home Depot paint is made for plastic. That's how I painted my WFC Siege Buzzsaw.
Purple Heart
Model paint. Something actually made for plastic.
Gee Won 1984
Home Depot used to sell glow in the dark spray paint. They probably still do.

That’s the Maketoys Cogwheel I got about a month ago! A really fantastic figure for even WFC standards, and I don’t plan on replacing it with a future HasTak one any time soon!
Scarlet knight
Third party, I believe.
ED 209
Where did that Gears come from?!!
Requiem Prime
Hmm, Predacons have basic ones with various flavors of fossil.
Maximals get the radioactive one, the magma infused one, and Transmutate\'s got screamy blast powers. And a ninja.
Usually the cons would get the more weaponized versions.
