Sharing out some recent galleries for Generations level figures that have been piling up here for a while. None of these are hot off the presses or anything, just a quick set for figures that I’ve been picking up for the personal collection. Some are more detailed than others. Some have fancy shots while others don’t. If you have some time to waste, like checking pretty shots, or want to tell me how I’ve transformed something wrong, hit the links below to check them out. In total there are about 650 HD shots across them all.

Mister Raymond
Does anyone know where I can find some high resolution scans/images of the Studio Series 86 backdrops without any figures in the foreground?
I've only managed to find Hot Rod's backdrop at: "Generations" 2020-21 Toy Review Index | Ben's World of Transformers
Thanks!

I didn't even know they existed until after they were no longer available.

I noticed that too about the ankles I should have bought the third part upgrade kit for his legs now I'm kicking myself cause you can't fined them anymore.
Shepard Prime
I love CW UM (and PM Prime/Ginrai for that matter). Both the design based on his IDW likeness and Minimus Ambus.
But I really (really!) dislike his leg joints. The ratchets are way too strong so posing and playing with him is an utter nightmare. That's something I feel Kingdom UM gets right. The look and the playability is stellar and for me, the UM I've always wanted.
Edit: What I'd buy in a heartbeat is Kingdom UM retooled into IDW UM.

I'm a fan of CW UM, too. First UM I've ever bought, and don't really plan on getting the Kingdom version because the cab and alt mode bother the crap out of me. I picked up a KO of the white transforming cab figure for CW UM about a year ago, and he's fun. My biggest complaint about CW UM is the lack of a waist swivel (which clearly seems like it should be pretty easy to have installed, and I'm almost tempted to try and modify him to have myself if I knew enough about how to do it…) and some other poseability issues with his ankles and such. Otherwise, great figure.

I had no idea about the origin storyline that's pretty cool and almost was tempted to have bought the Masterpiece but just seemed way to blocky with little maneuverability.

@Tony_Bacala Well done!
Also, thanks for keeping this forum going for so long!!

I've never been a big Ultra Magnus fan but, MTMTE won me over with Minimus Ambus and the whole "Magnus as a title not a person" thing. The "load bearer" super power that allowed him to wear the Magnus Armor was great. That origin added layers to the ole Magnus onion that was incredibly refreshing. CW Magnus is a great figure and probably my favorite toy of the character.
Grimlocka go-go
^ i have the combiner wars one with my Lost Light crew, fits well, and using this new version for my 86 stand in, till we get a better one

As authentic as Ultra Magnus looks to Masterpiece levels I really dislike his slip on boot with no side cover.
Sure you can add some leg extensions to make him taller but not much thought went into his redesign just modified the chest and a new paint job.
I'm probably the only one that enjoys this version of Ultra Magnus from Combiner Wars
He is pretty beefy just enough to make him Masterpiece size too.
Sure you can't play with the cab because it's all one connected but honestly that does not bother me.
Trevor Belmont
Dinobot (in both modes), Airazor, Hotrod and Jazz, have the knees bent over in the wrong direction. There are some that aren't quite bent tooo much but still look stupid bent straight or slightly too much like ultra Magnus and Springer (and in my opinion Cheetor)
Also none of the seekers have the knees properly tabbed in, but that's just minor gripe. The broken knees on so many of the static shots are what offend me so to speak lol
Bass X0
Butt buddies.
Mercurius
The only one that seems to be even slightly bent wrong is Jazz, and his knees are definitely wonky in the figure… What other figures are you seeing to make the issue widespread in the pictures?
Trevor Belmont
Knees bent in the wrong direction

Fantastic photos, always a treat to see pics like this.

"… broken knees"?

Nice pictures!

Great lighting
Superb angels
Lovely backgrounds
…
Underwhelming posing skills. I see a lot of broken knees

I am very thankful for the Kingdom ones with the cool backdrops, but we still have the standard ones rife with mistransformations like Magnus' ass bumper and wrong crotch in combined mode.

The team over there has stepped it up the last couple years. They are doing what I and others have been doing after getting them in hand, a year before they come out now. Good for them, stinks for fandom toy photographers
. That's why I'm reducing what and when I shoot, no point anymore. Other than me enjoying it.
They also I think have more industry restrictions on how they are allowed to present them, levels of post-processing, editing, etc. False advertising rule sets etc. I think, not 100% up on that exactly.
Aside from posing / transformation occasionally, their white BG shots are some of the best as well, and has been for a bit. Technically that is. The non render ones.
