Thanks to 2005 Boards member Megatron Unicronus for sharing in our forums our first image of the Transformers “Buzzworthy Bumblebee” Power Charge Bumblebee.
This figure seems a re-release of the Bumblebee Movie Power Charge Bumblebee from 2018. This is another unexpected release for the “Buzzworthy Bumblebee” sub-line which consists of several redecos, repacks and one new mold focused on Bumblebee and other characters from different lines.

Only if we get a reissue of this.

Alright Hasbro, might I suggest another subline entitled "Optimal Optimus" to go along with BB?
Gee Won 1984
Whoopty doo, another reissue Bumblebee toy that no one asked for.

I bought this when it first came out and wrote this review. I liked it then, was inspired by this thread to fiddle with it again, and still like it. However, the front left bumper section has developed a noticeable droop for unknown reasons, as it's spent the past couple years in bot mode, with no pressure on it.

I think it helped that it was highly promoted over social media, with pictures and videos. Once I was in a local mall here in Peru checking the toy section and a man was precisely looking for that toy. He said he traveled from another state to try to get it for his son. Unfortunately it was sold out almost everywhere the week before Christmas.

I remember it sat for six months at my local shops and nobody wanted it.
And it meant they got no other new Generations stock while all the movie Bee crap sat there, some of it for 12 months. I even bought a couple of the energon igniters just out of boredom as they had nothing new.
I guess they still have a warehouse full of them to shovel them back out again.
It's not a terrible toy, but its not a good toy either imo.
Snake_eyes1975
I bought this for my son when it was new.
I have to say, its a GREAT kids toy. A collector will get bored with it in 5 minutes, but this is a really good kids toy, period.
That said…I know this is gunna be $50-$60 and it will sit with all the other kiddy type cyberverse shit that sits and gets dusty.
MrLemming
Supposedly it’s basically Bumblebee as he was in the Cybertron scene in the BB movie, and not just like Cliffjumper where he turns into a VW Beetle. Theory is he has his “saucer” G1-inspired alt mode.
On this guy however, if he costs $50 again he’s going to warm pegs longer and faster than the WW2 Bee. Pop him down to around $30 and people will probably grab him if only just to have something to dink around with.
Chaos Muffin
Only wanted this during the first release because there wasnt much else to choose from. When the studio series version came out there wasn\'t much talk of this thing anymore.
RamenJunkie
I can't vouch for if it's worth the price but I won the old version in a contest.
It's a better figure than I had expected and I like it. It's more poseable than I figured it would be, the gimmick is pretty unobtrusive, and it scales alright with 6" figures in case you want a Bumblebee to hang out with your Marvel Legends.
That said, it doesn't really scale well with anything else TF wise.

Congratulations.

Excuse my ignorace, but what exactly is Origins Bumblebee?
Megatron Unicronus
Thank you, this is my first news credit.

I actually like this toy, even considering it belongs to the Transformers CHPS era. Quality is not so bad for current lower standards.
dragon
I see no mold on this figure nice toy rerelease don’t see need for it
Fc203
I wonder if this is that super bumblebee leakers were talking about
[Wing_Saber-X]
Lol. Harsh..but truthful
Gee Won 1984
My son got this Power Charge Bumblebee for Christmas the year it came out. He loved it for a couple weeks and never plays with it now. He always is playing with the regular sized figures.
ObakaChanTachi
One of the better gimmick toys. I remember back when it first got leaked here I thought it was the SS Deluxe. That's how good it is.
octobotimus
Hope I can find it on sale. Looked like a fun big toy to mess with.
