Third party company 115-Utopia on Weibo have shared images of their new upgrade kit for Transformers Earthrise Deluxe Ironhide.
This new kit consists of:
- Arm fillers
- Feet replacement parts which form a proper rear door for the alt mode
Some of the pieces come on small sprues, so you need to remove the pieces before installing. As we can see from the images, the pieces match Ratchet’s plastic color very well. A good alternative to improve the look of Earthrise Ironhide alt mode. We still have no concrete information on price, but this kit should be out sometime soon.

At first I saw the gap it made with the roof and I was like, "I'll wait for the nonnef kit." Then I saw the nonnef kit has the same gap, and in my opinion has an even more fiddly transition with the roof/sides/doors.
Since I'm painting them anyway because I got two SG Ratchets, I'm going with this kit. I feel like it'll be easier to paint over than the molded plastic of nonnef.
Those nonnef wheel kits ARE nice, though…

If you’re in the UK and want Nonnef product, follow G Works Toys on twitter. They have some sort of partnership with Nonnef and will periodically open up preorders for their products.

Thanks for the info I'll definitely look into it.

Yes, you register your account, and they give you a US address. In my case it’s in New Hampshire, and I’d imagine it would be the same for you. We’d just have different unit numbers specific to individuals. Like a flat basically, just… big numbers . You can give that address as delivery address to American sites when ordering and Stackry inform you when it arrives.
You then have option of waiting and consolidating your stuff with other things or ship when you like. There are fees for consolidating stuff, or optional extras like repackaging and other things. A lot of that isn’t needed as long as the original seller packed everything properly, although I think the consolidation feature is worthwhile. You pay for it, but it might work out cheaper overall than sending goods separately (worth checking out.).
You have to describe amd value the items too. (Bear that in mind for more expensive items when tax is concerned. Small bits like these add-on kits should escape the tax, though, but I’m only speaking from my experience there.) You can be as descriptive as you like though.
You also have a bunch of delivery methods to choose from. It’s pretty straight forward. Stackry even have a little tutorial which describes things step by step .
Scott_XIII
Is it a relativity straight forward process?
Mardroid
I live in the UK. I use Stackry for forwarding.
Scott_XIII
Unfortunately Nonnef no longer ships to UK, not sure how much of a hassle it would be to use a proxy.
Any how I've gone with Utopia for Ratchet and this one ( Unknown 3rd Party Add On Feet for Earthrise Ratchet? ) for Ironhide, I've yet to make a definitive decision on which is the best overall kit.

Good point, I wasn’t keen on that either, much as the van-bots are among my favourites of the line. In fact my most recent order is an MP Ironhide, partly as I wanted a version for my collection who doesn’t do that. Amusingly he does come with an extra slab of plastic for his battle sled. And it’s not fitted with tracks! (Meh. Hover sled it is. And it provides nice storage for his extra bits.) But it is extra, and you can completely do without it.
I will say the roof of the ER van-bots does make one of the better looking shields, and the pull out missile launchers are a nice touch, although they’re probably the most unwieldy missile launchers to exist. (I think they look more like rocket boosters.) I did have fun with Nonnef’s kits for the van-bots too, turning the shield/roof into battle/medic sleds. The fun did off-set the parts-forming in this case, so maybe I’m a hypocrite. I think I made the right decision to get Nonnef’s replacement feet, though.
Scott_XIII
Much like pulling off the roof for transformation?
Scott_XIII
Concept looks good but I'd want to know more about the screw connection. Link?
This one looks good too. The rotating part is the rear window becomes a toe.

Replacement Feet for Earthrise Ironhide & Ratchet by TheLazyEyebrow on Shapeways
Dogbomber
Hi, anyone got this?
Unknown 3rd Party Add On Feet for Earthrise Ratchet?
Mardroid
They do look really good, but having to pull bits off and switch them around put me off. I’ll see what Nonnef comes up with.
Hyoumaru
Got mine in and they work fantastically. Color matching is spot-on, the fillers fit securely, might have to use some superglue to tighten up the tabs that the feet plug into, but otherwise out of the various replacement feet I've tried so far, this is definitely the best for Ironhide.

Ya'll aware that you can fund all your PayPal purchases with your credit/debit card, your purchases are then protected by your bank/credit card company so if you get any grief you can just claim a charge-back through them instead of PayPal.

To be honest in Ironhide's case it's just so he can attach to his shield/death sled.
LazyEyebrow
ahh fair enough, my bad. I suppose I could tweak it a bit to add those in. not sure why everyone likes them so much but oh well
Q Prime
Yeah, I got corrected near the start of the thread. Fair play to you for having the skills to do so. Any chance you could also release a version with 5mm ports?
LazyEyebrow
nah, I bought someone else's design and was so annoyed by it i made my own
Scott_XIII
Do they come in white?
