Takara Tomy Mall and Amazon Japan have updated listing of the new Transformers Masterpiece MP-53 Skids And MP-54 Reboost and we have a nice set of new stock images to share with you.
We have clear shots of both Skids and Reboost showing off their poseability and the realistic Honda City Turbo. Skids will include his arm cannon and a a dual-barreled gun and Reboost will include 2 guns, a dual-barreled gun, a small Honda Motocompo and an articulated driver. Both figures are priced 10,780 Yen ($98.52 approximately) and scheduled for release in September 2021.

You might have better luck finding similar headlight lenses on a cheap replica car at a similar scale at Walmart or the Dollar Store and cannibalize them from there. Might take a few stops/stores, but I think it is possible to find something.
The other option would be model shops that sell scratch-build components. Maybe something relating to model trains or Japanese Gundam models (there are a lot of companies that sell upgrade accessories for Bandai kits, specifically the mono-eye lenses for Zaku-type mobile suits; not sure if they would be clear though). Pop over to the “Let’s see your Gundams” thread on the Toyark forum and ask there.

Does anyone know if the colorless headlights of Reboost and Crosscut are available for purchase? Or if anyone makes aftermarket versions? I like Skids, but those yellow headlights have got to go.

Might be luck of the draw, but taking caution with the joint during transformation (especially in the case of Reboost) would be wise.

I got Crosscut a few months back, transformed it, and (thankfully) it didn’t happen. I haven’t transformed Skids yet, though. Can’t decide if it’s poor engineering, poor materials used for a connection point, or a combo of both.

Awww man mine's also Reboost.. yeah i've only transformed it once and noticed on my second time. Hope this isn't a molding issue on other copies too

I have that issue with one of Reboost’s legs. Happened during my first transformation. It’s my least favorite part about the mold.

Anyone has this problem yet? This clip inside his hammie got chewed up when i was clipping the tab into it. Now its not holding up anymore.

I don’t know if anyone’s already said this, but I’ve had my Skids for a while now, and JUST found out while messing with him that during the leg transformation where you pull the foot out, his ankle actually SNAPS forward into place so it doesn’t awkwardly rock back and forth!
For some reason, this makes his transformation even more satisfying!

Goes back to what I was saying when people wondered why Skids of all guys got an MP. Between him and Starscream they've been able to churn out a handful of quick repaints to help fill out the MP line while working on stuff like Raiden.
