SG Galvatron just needs a whole new color scheme. Just because the original SG material was a Galvatron colored helicopter doesn't mean he always has to be.
Remember that Animated was going to have a SG Starscream with Sky Garry's colors instead of Jetfire. We don't always have to stick to the original comics, in fact, I think that just about every character that uses their diaclone colors (especially Tracks and Hoist, whose diaclone colors already have identities of their own) and most of the characters that are just pallet swaps of their faction counterpart (Fort Max and Scorponok, Technobots and Terrorcons ETC) should have new colors. Pallet swaps aren't bad, SG just does it too much in my opinion. I always prefer when they use the colors of a character with some other, often vague, connection to the one being recolored, like Nautica having the Space Pirate seacons colors, or Ratbat being batman.
IF we get more SG (I would love more than just the five planned but won't be shocked if they don't do more), and they make a Galvatron, I wouldn't mind him having his kingdom mold in some new color scheme (maybe something like Optimus prime or Marvel comic Prima colors could look nice, or even a green color scheme as green and purple are common complimentary colors)

Heres an idea. SG Gavatron was a shoehorned cop-out because not only did someone want to see Galvatron made from that mold, but because the Club never had much faith in their figures, so they all had to be “double” homages in order to appeal to two groups of people.
Because of this, while some of their figures are great, others were made more with the intention of being someone else despite what their fiction stated.
So…. instead of repainting Galvatron into…. Galvatron, how about a more unique design is made?
Another thing that baffles me is that people don’t seem to understand that Shattered Glass is not a single iteration of the franchise. It is a concept, that a mirror universe exists, and it is applicable to every iteration in the franchise.
So for example, throughout the vast array of universes amongst the multiverse, there exists an SG style universe per each iteration. There is a G1 SG universe. There is an Aligned SG universe. There is a Movie SG universe, and so on and so forth. Shattered Glass iterations of characters do not have to be based entirely off of what Funpub chose(especially as their choices were forced). A Shattered Glass G1 Megatron can turn into a gun, or a tankc or any of the modes he has assumed over the years.
Funpub’s take on SG was more intended to be of the Classics Universe, but again, SG is not a single iteration as much as it is a concept that exists in variety throughout the multiverse, and to that end while some core characteristics need to remain, not all figures need to be direct updates of Funpub’s own. Such as the forced double homage that was their “SG”(aka G1) Galvatron.

Oh, Hasbro.
Since you're doing Shattered Glass now, why not go the extra mile and give us a Nexus Prime while you're at it.

Id like to see the super megaton mold for SG.

Third. The clever thing about SG Galvatron is likely the fact that Evac is rather similar to Galvatron without really looking that much like Galvatron, strangely enough.
Though the issue is that Blackout, considering it's a movie mold would likely be out of the question, considering how movie molds go. Alpha Bravo would be a interesting SG Galvatron too, but i guess that might require some retooling. Also, if they would redeco Kingdom Galvatron into SG Galvatron. I might have a idea involving how sometimes Shattered Glass uses unused ideas. Perhaps SG Galvatron's colors would homage that unreleased Grey, Black & Green redeco of Energon Megatron. If they choose to go that route.
Honestly, Shattered Glass would be a interesting canvas for re-imagined unused ideas. Like Laser Cycle Soundwave, that would be a really interesting form for SG Soundwave.

Some SG characters are acceptable as being repainted from their regular toy. SG Optimus Prime is fine. But other characters have a change in alternate mode but keeping their regular color scheme – like Galvatron. One thing has to be different to their regular selves, and one thing has to stay the same (except for the repurposed toys). Galvatron has been established to have a helicopter mode and his original color scheme.
Looking at the different molds, I think SS-08 Blackout would work best as Shattered Glass Galvatron. He would require a new head and possibly new fists, but I think it would work. Paint him in the same colors as his Botcon toy.
An alternative was Alpha Bravo or Highbrow, but those molds are only deluxes.

I agree.

Still not different enough. SG Galvatron should not be using the Kingdom Galvatron mold.
Not Dragonn
They could use the early color prototype

You know what's really interesting about SG Galvatron is he supposed to be an upgrade to basically energon Megatron which is crazy because energon Megatron has tons more powerful weapons than helicopter blades and some shoulder missile launchers.
MrSoundmeister
I think they should save SG Galvatron for later down the line. Like maybe in the next toyline trilogy when they might sneak in some new Evac Mold for extra "Accuracy".

A less angry white face

It’s just not worth it. There is nothing about having G1 Galvatron colours on a new G1 Galvatron mold that already has G1 colours that says Shattered Glass.
Dinobot Snarl
Actually no it's not Galvatron colors, It is purple yes, but also white and Black and neon orange. I would love to see the Galvatron mold in these colors.

Star Saber
Well considering the previous SG Galvatron had Universe Springer as a mold-mate through the Evac/Live Convoy mold, that'd be somewhat of a logical choice.
Gumblor Gimbles
I think the choice of doing Blurr first is entirely to do with the pack-in comic's storyline- for one reason or another the writer wanted to give SG Blurr a starring role, and so the toyline reflects that.
Atomsk
The new SG box art looks pretty amazing, and for once that box shape makes sense since there's a comic included.
Q Prime
I could maybe see an SG Galvatron out of Springer, as there aren't many large copter-bots currently. More likely is that he's never made.
Beauman
I think the logic was:
G1 alt mode = different color scheme,
Different alt mode = G1 colors.
Lucas35
I'm surprised that Guido Guidi will be the artist of the new comic of Shattered Glass.
