Third party company Magic Square, via their Weibo account, have uploaded images of the color prototype of their MS-B33 Deadly (Legends Scale Perceptor).
This figure is an impressive cartoon-accurate representation of G1 Perceptor for the Legends scale size. It features a wide range of poseabily and a solid microscope mode. Another nice addition for your Legends scale display.
We still have no concrete information on price or release date, but you can check all the mirrored images on this news post after the jump. Then click on the discussion link below and share your impressions on the 2005 Board.

haha, managed to grab one a while back, thanks though

If you haven't found an original yet, there's a few for cheap on eBay right now. They don't have the silver paint on the chest – it's white. And the knob on the scope is black, not silver. The figure is mostly just colored plastic.

What you're showing in the pictures here, and the pictures of what you're selling are 2 different versions. Your link is for the original, 1st version. The pictures here are the painted metallic version that is $39.99 on MS' website.

so…am i right in thinking that all the percys aside from the original release are painted? trying to avoid painted ms figures where i can (megatron is proving a pain to find though…) i see alot of listings for a "reissue" version, any details on that one? so hard to tell as they all use stock images

Interesting, I've just ordered one from MS and just assumed it would be the recolour. I'm no very uncertain as to what I'll recieve.

Maybe ask on their facebook?

Has anyone bought this guy from the Magic Square official website? I have the "recolor" version and really want the original run, but the website doesn't specify and I haven't gotten a response to my email asking about it.

I know it's an homage to the original toy, but dang, those are busy and loud. Yow.

Could be an error on babas part, or it could be that all the versions have the same box, so unless everyone is very scrupulous it's up in the air which you might be getting. Too me the one on the left looks like the toy repaint, while the other is the metallic, since their the only ones still available. I'd ask baba what the listings actually are for, maybe the sent you a metallic deco in error.

See and here is where I get confused. On Bababobo’s sight here is what he shows (see pic). I have the one on the left, and just received the one on the right, and they are the exact same figure in hand. So I am not sure what these two are about then. So then maybe what I thought I already had was the one on the left, but in actuality it was really the one on the right (hence why they look the same)??

From what I understand there's the original b33 that is just bare plastic, the "metallic" which is b33x, and the toy "metallic" which is b33xs. That's it.
Phase Sixer
There is no metallic version, that was a misnomer. They’re just the one with a clear coat and some paint and the regular one. They called the painted one “metallic” in the beginning, but it’s not.
sorry to break it to you, but you’ve been misled. They caused some confusion by calling it metallic.

Can anyone help me out here with this question? So I have the B33X version (metallic), and just received my order from Bababobo for the B33 repaint version. However, I am positive what I got was the metallic version instead even though I ordered the repaint 2.0 one. I put them next to each other and they are the same. Does anyone happen to have a side-by-side comparison of the 2.0 repaint next to the metallic version? And if not, can anyone explain the difference between them? I know the repaint is supposed to be the toy colors, but if it is the same as the metallic, I am just confused. Thanks for any clarifications here if possible!
