Product Description
The ancient Decepticon Seeker who chose to side with the Autobots and sacrifice his spark to Optimus Prime to aid in the defeat of The Fallen, Jetfire, joins Hasbro and threezero’s DLX Collectible Figure Series based on his appearance in the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen!
DLX Collectible Figures present intricate Transformers designs in a smaller scale with high-fidelity production value. With its unique die-cast metal frame design, DLX not only provides an advanced range of articulation, but also greatly enhances the weight and durability. Together with the detailed and weathered paint application of threezero, a remarkable resemblance is achieved in matching the characters as seen in the original media.
At 15 inches tall, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DLX Scale Collectible Series Jetfire figure features approximately 65 points of articulation, a die-cast metal frame, and LED illuminated eyes. LED Jet Thrusters also light up in Jetpower mode. Accessories include one Landing Gear Cane, two pairs of interchangeable hands, and one cannon and machine gun for the separately-sold DLX Optimus Prime in Jetpower form.
DLX Jetfire is also designed so that key parts can be detached and integrated as armor for the separately-sold DLX Optimus Prime. Together, the two figures form the impressive DLX Jetpower Optimus Prime.

Ah, someone from the KO thread found what they were. They're from the back piece on Optimus Prime–they come out of the two blue panels on his back.
crazee928
blue part is his chin piece. not sure about the two broken parts

All three DLX Optimus Primes came in today: the official DLX ROTF Optimus, and the two KOs — MC-003 and MC-003F. All three appear to have a part loose that is rather small, blue in colour, with silver knobs. Does anyone know where this part goes?
Sadly, two small parts seem to have broken off the official version. They're grey and look symmetrical, but I've looked over the figure and cannot find where they could have come from. Help!

Feel free to make an offer if you’re interested. I’m in the East Bay.
Primal Suit
I just disassembled the combined form and found out one of Prime's regular jaw covers (the little circle on his cheeks) had went missing :/. I'm not too familiar with the upgrade heads, but at this point I feel I might as well get one. What is the cheapest one so far? Thanks

in the bay…hmm…depends on your price

Congratulations.. or my condolences idk I ain't reading all that

I’ve got to be frank though, I can’t see why anyone like this thing as a set. There’s parts forming everywhere with parts going in and out of the box, it doesn’t hold together well, etc. I’ve been collecting for a long time, with an extensive collection of Soul of Chogokin, Hot Toys, TT Transformers, and 3rd Party…and this is probably the 2nd worse set I’ve bought in the last 5 years after my “Perfect Edition” Constructor that was snapped in half in the box. I liked the Prime alone since it was released first, other than the few pieces that popped off during posing. After combining though…what a piece of crapola. I’d pay someone to just un-transform back to how it came in the box if I could and then just sell Jetfire and keep Prime.
I’m a big collector, probably buying $10K in Tranformers per year, and this is one I’d rank 2nd worst of all of them in the last 5 years. So that’s my honest review on it. I like my similarly priced Premium Scale Bumblebee Prime or Blitzwing *way* more. People complain about that Premium Prime, and I’ll defend it…but I think Jetpower Prime has zero defense. I think it’s just bad.
Grimlock212
If I could sell it (without un-transforming it) and get anything close to my money back I’d sell it in a heartbeat. You buying?
Anyone in the Bay Area want to buy it off me? It’s awesome!
AtomicLad
No I am talking about the combined mode, yes I own both. And yes I am being honest about this.
This sounds like a YOU problem. If you hate yours so much, sell it and move on.
Grimlock212
You are talking about Optimus Prime alone, right? Because if you think posing Jetpower Optimus Prime is this easy, then you don’t own one, or you just aren’t being honest with yourself.
Let’s be honest, this set combined is bad. I just can’t see how someone would argue otherwise. You pretty much can’t even touch it, much less pose it, or stuff falls off. So unless your goal is to combine it, stick it in a sealed case, add all the fallen off pieces from putting it in the case, close the case…oh wait, that stupid piece with the weak magnets fell off again…put it back on and hope nothing else falls off, and seal the case…then this figure combined sucks. I guess it looks ok if you don’t touch it.
So if your standards are *SUPER* low, this might be the collectible for you!
Grimlock212
It’s garbage because pieces fall off left and right because it’s so poorly designed. If you want to move or pose the thing, be ready to find broken and fallen pieces! I guess it’s a good buy if you like to make repairs and enjoy searching for small missing pieces that might have fallen behind your display.
Do you own this? I can’t imagine any owner wouldn’t understand that this is a *VERY* compromised release. Or to put it more simply, hot garbage.
AtomicLad
All you need to do is remove the outer hip pieces and the magnetic parts from the chest then pose away! Once he is posed, put those pieces back on.
No where near as big or dramatic an issue as some folks make it out to be.

He said he was impatient.
Optitron98
That really isn't fair to the dude. It is soooo frustrating having things constantly pop off on the official Optimus by himself. I don't have Jetfire, but I saw emgo's review on the base figure and even he comments that stuff loves to come off when posing him too. I can really see myself losing all patience and sanity trying to do the combination because of how much stuff is held on by hopes and prayers.
Throway
Not long at all, the hip pieces gave me trouble though
