Product Description
The ancient Decepticon Seeker who chose to side with the Autobots and sacrifice his spark to Optimus Prime to aid in the defeat of The Fallen, Jetfire, joins Hasbro and threezero’s DLX Collectible Figure Series based on his appearance in the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen!
DLX Collectible Figures present intricate Transformers designs in a smaller scale with high-fidelity production value. With its unique die-cast metal frame design, DLX not only provides an advanced range of articulation, but also greatly enhances the weight and durability. Together with the detailed and weathered paint application of threezero, a remarkable resemblance is achieved in matching the characters as seen in the original media.
At 15 inches tall, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DLX Scale Collectible Series Jetfire figure features approximately 65 points of articulation, a die-cast metal frame, and LED illuminated eyes. LED Jet Thrusters also light up in Jetpower mode. Accessories include one Landing Gear Cane, two pairs of interchangeable hands, and one cannon and machine gun for the separately-sold DLX Optimus Prime in Jetpower form.
DLX Jetfire is also designed so that key parts can be detached and integrated as armor for the separately-sold DLX Optimus Prime. Together, the two figures form the impressive DLX Jetpower Optimus Prime.

Guys why doesnt the corpse of a dead guy used as armor look alive
Jokes aside I think I understand what they meant. The ko looks very flat, Im assuming because of paint and stuff. I personally don't mind, I always love an opportunity to try customizing something but I can see why that would lessen the appeal
GrimlockPrime19
It's just the armor dude. Put it in the original DLX and it probably looks fine
zark225
Considering what happened to Jetfire, that seems pretty accurate.
Throway
Looks about as dead and lifeless as the other KO
Zoo
Can someone drop the link
GrimlockPrime19
Does the official have diecast in the armor parts? Maybe the feet?
Optitron98
Hope the kit is more secure than the official
GrimlockPrime19
It has its own thread already but I believe it'd be of use here
Someone's making a KO of the Jet power kit without Jetfire

So 3Zero is a producer while Premium and DLX are different scales. Thanks m8s, much appreciated.
octobotimus
Premium figures are massive 19 inch figures while DLX is the specific size range based around their primes that are about 11”.
Zoo
From what i gather premium is around 19 inches and dlx is like 11.5 (same scale as mpm bee and co.)

Guys, sorry for a noob question but I recently saw someone in different thread mentioned that he has several Primes including 'ThreeZero premium AND DLX'. Is this some typo cause I always thought those two are interchangable. What is the difference between 3Zero and DLX if any?
Zoo
yeah iirc its to accommodate the combine mode better
yeah apparently a hot point of contention
yeah good take, its still a good figure proportion issues asside
Xero2001
Yeah proportions on this don't seem 100% right? But then again, I'm assuming its for articulation purposes? I thought they would "upgrade" the figure somehow for a re-issue but I guess it's good they didn't to not piss people who already own him. I guess that means there's going to be no future upgrades for this particular Optimus?
I'll pre-order this one and just wait and see what happens with DOTM.
Zoo
I think reissue is otw. 07 is basically the same could maybe do different brighter deco not sure. No dotm but u can buy a ko of the dotm version
Optitron98
He's being reissued. As far as I know, no changes.
Why not have a DOTM version? Probably working on it behind the scenes. They did a TLK Nemesis Prime which had slightly different colors and a new shield gun and accessories. Can easily just remold the forearms, abs, and give him the axe, shield, handheld swords, and his new gun. I don't think it'll come with the jetpack, but could always be wrong.
The 2007 version is probably considered "covered" since he already comes with the swords and guns which is all he used in the movie. Maybe brighter reds and blues, but it may not be enough to get people to buy a second.
My own note: Whether or not they make a new DLX mold to remove the Jetfire compatability for better accuracy and have that be the new 2007/DOTM base mold is anyone's guess really. I could see that be something in demand, could also see backlash as fans who bought the original may fell gypped for buying the ROTF one
Xero2001
Hey guys, I'm new to collecting Transformers – can anyone tell me me what's going on with the RoTF Optimus? Is he being re-issued? If so, are there any changes to it?
Did Threezero ever mention any plans of doing the 2007 movie or DOTM DLX figure? Surely they would jump on the opportunity considering how well their figures have sold thus far?
CloutimusPrime
Insane, I know. You would image the company you're paying a premium price point for has good customer service, but that is not the case.
Zoo
Official options are non existent, so why not

How lovely, I am paying for the official three times as much as for the KO and because of it I am denied the warranty. How on earth they can expect from us to not follow the 3Ps?
