We have received info highlighting that Paramount has hired services of concept artists specialized in futuristic/alien looking vehicles for the upcoming Transformers Live Action Movie (internally dubbed as Transformers 7).
The artists in question have previously worked on both land and air vehicles not existing in real life. They have worked on projects relating to Star Wars, Marvel Cinematic Universe (Black Panther etc.), and the upcoming Suicide Squad.
It is not uncommon to hire freelance artists to work on major motion pictures; including past Transformers movies. However, not all concepts will translate into the final product, as seen with beast characters for Transformers: The Last Knight. But it will be interesting to see these concepts popup after the home release of 7th Transformers movie.
As always, we ask our members to take this info with a grain of salt until officially confirmed.

What\'s with the weird Cyclonus mold and repaint in the photo?
GageLoft
Aw really? That sucks, was hoping for beast wars, but if we got some sort of thing related to it, then I’d be happy. Either way, with the bumblebee universe, should be a good movie.

Does anyone know where this movie will fit in between the bay verse, BB and the supposed beast wars movie?

An animated Transformers movie is in the works alongside the Live-action movie.

There's less "polarization" in Japanese culture in general because it can't deal with things that deviate from anything it promotes as the norm.
Japanese fiction is tiresomely repetitive and when you look past the few franchises that stand out (and I'm not talking about what stands out compared to western fiction. Because we do know there's that) it is sadly uncreative.
Most products are very obvious low-effort copies of popular formulas, and they are popular because the culture has such a hard time accepting what is different and new.

It won't be part of the Bayverse at all. Current rumors point to this film being part of the Bumblebee movie timeline. The Beast Wars film was supposedly dropped, however, we may see some Beast characters in this film based on the working title "Transformers: Beast Alliance" (though, there's no evidence of this being true besides the working title).

Awww yeaaaah. Though my greedier side wants two live action movies, I'll be perfectly happy with that too.

I'm pretty sure that's what we're getting. There's an animated prequel Cybertron film in development and there's a separate live-action film (the one mentioned in the post) that's rumored to take place in either the '80s or '90s.
Cosmosis
Though tbh I would prefer if they took an Arrow-type approach to the story, having it split between the start of the war on Cybertron and of the late 80's of earth.
Cosmosis
Oooooh, are we gonna get a sequel to bumblebee that's mostly set on Cybertron? Yes please!

I'll wait to see what designs are produced. I hope to see something real but imaginative.

There is distinctly less polarization between the generations of gundam compared to that of transformers. I think this is because japanese culture is more centered around the big picture; the franchise itself, aesthetics and tropes, than how we tend to prioritize the characters much more in the west.
It's why there are so many characters that look like optimus; but aren't him in japanese media. Or how every japanese primary decepticon has a giant weapon of sorts on them.
Basically how every primary gundam protagonist and antagonist has similarities to the original template.
I do yearn for more unique takes on transformers though. Maybe it's time for G2 to show more influence? No clue.

how do you mean

Worked on Star Wars? That's not really saying much these days in my opinion. Especially with how generic the ships in the sequel-era films looked.
Hopefully it's more of a point in right direction type of thing, where the artists source off their material from stuff like High Moon's cybertron games' concept art. Now that'd be a dream.
