We have something really curious to share with you, and some may consider it an opportunity. The owner of the 1987 Freightliner truck, which Paramount used as Optimus Prime in the last scene of the Bumblebee movie, has recently put the truck on sale.
The truck is offered via Facebook Marketplace and Truckers Buy Sell Trade or advice Facebook group. If you are hard core fan of Optimus Prime, and you have $21600 to spend, you may park Optimus Prime at home. Click on the sales links for additional information and location.
Would you buy the Autobot leader to display him in your parking lot? Let us know your impressions on the 2005 Board!

The cab line is silver.

I've spoke to Guy who owned it for my RC replica build.

Could someone please help me? Is the line on the trailer the same colour as line on cab, silver? Or white? I can't tell. I'm making an RC truck and trailer from this film. Nearly finished it.

Such an awesome looking rescue truck. I miss Ratchet and especially Ironhide!

How much? haha WOULD LOVE IT

I hate to say it, but theres a good chance whoever bought this has no interest/knowledge of Transformers and just bought it be used…. As a truck.
WolverineDragon
Now that is scale accurate!

I wonder who the lucky owner is. Hoping to see a video walkthrough of the truck from the lucky owner.

It's a good thing it's not just sitting there anymore. Thrones are for decepticons, besides, I bet optimus prefers to roll…

Small update: Looks like the truck was sold.

Noooo! Poor birb!
BATTLEMASTER
Probably a Beast Wars type that was trying to say "Munky not Trukk"
Obviously the guy found out that day that he was definitely the bird and not the truck grill.
goodisdumb
Was it Laserbeak? That bird has always been a pain in the butt for Optimus!
ThunderDestron
That is kinda hillarious
Nova Maximus
It is. It's already been posted that the owner said a bird kamikazed itself into the grill.
ThunderDestron
I think it is real. Movie studios definintly would want to save money by renting some random guy's truck. Its probably pretty easy to knock in a grill like that by accident. The bracing is less extensive than on a regular car so he might've bumpted something and bent it.
