When Vigilem flees to a colony run by Thunderwing and his lackeys, Lightbright, Lodestar, and the Technobots will have to go on the most dangerous mission of their lives in pursuit of the Titan!

But not if the new Prime can rally what’s left of Security Operations and the Senate Guard into a resistance! Meanwhile, with the Autobots and Decepticons declaring war on each other, a group of Cybertron’s top scientists and diplomats launch a plan to get those uninterested in the fighting, including the alien A’ovan refugees living on Cybertron, a way out of the devastation to come.

Yeah, The Comics are supposed to be MARKETING for the toys yet they don't have a say in how that marketing is presented? Something ain't stirring the Kool-Aid. Ace.

Treadshot 2.0
You'll probably like issue 30 then.

I'm not attacking anyone who likes this, if you do that's fine. What I meant by it is that I wish it was more dynamic. Walking and talking can get real boring quick.
I'm no high octane action maniac, but I wish they would spice it up even a little more.
I love the original IDW run, and I love novels. But a lot of this dialogue comes off as pretentious and boring to me. There's no need for my opinion to cause you so much turmoil.
RazorclawX
I really hope you stay away from novels.
And before you come back with some smart remark, remember, you posting THAT is what got my attention in the first place.
KickCounterkick
Man, I'm ready to see some action or some actual storytelling. People just standing (or sometimes walking) and talking is not really storytelling. We need to be shown not told, we've heard what all these bots have to say.
I think this comic will get somewhere, it just needs to get it's feet off the ground.
CaioSilvatheScreamerFan
I thought Hasbro was behind this, silly me, of course IDW shot their own foot
Nova Maximus
Yep. They did it as a way for ease-of-access to reference material and having the designs be consistent between artists.
I would have preferred if they made their own designs like IDW did in the past before Combiner Wars and the Revolution event, but that's what they choose to do.
CaioSilvatheScreamerFan
woah woah
Seriously ?
Nova Maximus
It was IDW's choice. Hasbro actually had nothing to do with IDW choosing to use toy designs for the characters.
samisham
Hasbro probably thought they could get some more sales out of it.
Nova Maximus
They're both official. They were both made in the same toyline. IDW went with this body cause they wanted to with the toy options that were out. Probably a combination of the show using the other body (for that G1 nostalgia and what warranted the DLX), too close to an Earth body, and they just like it.
Really they should have gone the full way and given him the yellow eyes and a supermode (which may or may-not still happen) but that's just my two scents on it.
Lokimaru
Why the hell did thy choose to use THAT body for Optimus? That remold of Ultra magnus was put out as a hey look what we can do hah hyuk, not something to be taken seriously else the official Cartoon would have used it. Why do that when you had the official Siege Optimus right there? Hasbro even commissioned a DLX version so you know he's official.
samisham
According to comichron.com comic profits have remained about the same since the 2000's when adjusted for inflation, but comic sales have decreased significantly in that time and comic prices appear to have risen faster than inflation. But I'm not an economist so take that with a grain of salt.

I haven't heard this. What are the 'reasons'?
Runamuck86
I am about a year behind with the reboot and it doesn\'t look like i have missed anything yet
Requiem Prime
Assuming this is unusual to their timing, someone had the teaser pages and never got around to it.
