When Vigilem flees to a colony run by Thunderwing and his lackeys, Lightbright, Lodestar, and the Technobots will have to go on the most dangerous mission of their lives in pursuit of the Titan!

But not if the new Prime can rally what’s left of Security Operations and the Senate Guard into a resistance! Meanwhile, with the Autobots and Decepticons declaring war on each other, a group of Cybertron’s top scientists and diplomats launch a plan to get those uninterested in the fighting, including the alien A’ovan refugees living on Cybertron, a way out of the devastation to come.

Always happy to see Milne artwork even if he is not the primary artist for the books. Hopefully they will not kill this iteration of the Technobots unceremoniously like the previous generation.

This Transformers Annual 2021 was posted online and with @IDWPublishing permission I am posting it here
This was a fun image to work on and this time I took a stab at coloring it myself. @Brian_Ruckley has given me a lot of fun stuff to draw

I agree I think this series has a lot of potential and can prove a lot of people wrong that beast wars isn’t so tight nipped that new stories and new directions cant be done.
T-Hybrid
I think the Vok are a given. Their an integral part of BW and not exploring them further if given an opportunity like this would be unusual.
I think it's too early for them to appear in the comic though. Let them soak in how weird the planet is before showing us who's behind the curtain.
I know I've said it before, but BW was very similar to LOST. Crash on a strange planet and very slowly reveal not only how weird it was, but why.
Mattymo
plus it’s beast wars. 1-2 issue length stories to start would probably be the acceptable length of an episode-like structure and then stories get longer as more characters are introduced and things like the Vok and the ark come in if they show up. The Vok are probably a safe bet to come in eventually unless they go in a completely new direction but we have already seen floating mountains and 2 moons.
SG Roadbuster
Ayyyyy Wildwheel is gonna be in stuff outside of cyberverse, wooooooo
T-Hybrid
It can be both things, and likely will. Each issue would benefit from some form of beginning/middle/end. But tying things in to the overall story over time will help draw readers in long term.
Mattymo
yeah I’m still trying to gauge if this is going to be 5-6 story arcs or single issue or 2 issue story arcs like the animated comic from a decade ago. Kinda works either way.
T-Hybrid
I mean, it was similar in the sense that the set up was the same. But that's fine. The Marvel movies are "the same" in that regard, too.
There's ways to reference the original series without doing a copy of it. They can do both, and we'll probably get a good feel for that by the fourth issue
Rojixus
Oh shit, you're right! Now it's all I can look at!
DaveWire
What is up with Dinobot’s hands? They’re so… so… normal! It’s creeping me out.
Autobot Hound
Lol, so instead of Starscream vs. Rainbow Dash we get them working together? Should be interesting…
And yeah, I'm thinking Dinobot is the errant Predacon.
Mattymo
I think the best thing for this comic is to not homage the cartoon very much. I like this series but I’ve seen other sites and such discuss that the first issue was too similar to the opening of the cartoon which lead the question “what’s the point?” I disagree totally but it is what it is.

Lodestar vs Vigilem, round 2!
ILoveDinobot
Maybe Rattrap.
If Dinobot and Rattrap don't kiss, I'm not reading the beast wars comics.
