ThreeZero is back with their latest DLX release in the War For Cybertron Trilogy Siege Optimus Prime! This is based on the Netflix series version of Optimus Prime, which was based heavily on the original toy from Hasbro, so the result is a ThreeZero’s figure being very similar to the Hasbro toy. ThreeZero’s thing has been screen accuracy for figures in the media and movies, and continues that here. Just so happens the media was faithful to the original toy this time. 🙂 It’s bigger, has more articulation, more paint, more detailing, and comes with lights. Accessory wise we get the standard run of alternate hands, laser rifle, and axe-shield in the both configurations (2 pieces). But of course, it does not transform.
All in all I dug handling it. It’s got a great stance and is VERY Optimus Primey. The larger size and good paint really make it stand out on the shelf. The mid torso cut allows for some new poses you can’t get with the original toy. Lights in the eyes and chest make it come alive. For those that love Prime, the WFC series, or big detailed figures – it’s a great centerpiece to wrap your Hasbro figures around.
This guy was a preview copy courtesy of ThreeZero. It came a bit early. He’s due to ship in Q1 2021. Megatron should be right behind him too. Hit our sponsors or your favorite spot to grab your POs before he ships!

They do characters that will guarantee money.

So I assume ThreeZero is never going to do a DLX seeker, Jetfire, or Ultra Magnus

After a long time of waiting, just received Nemisis, wasn't totally sold o. a non transforming Transformer, but this guy is pretty sweet.
Great articulation, and accessories included are fun to swap in and out.
May have to get my hands on Opt and Meg's now!!
Hope no one minds me putting light on an aging thread but the Nemesis variant just released.View attachment 29235696 View attachment 29235698 View attachment 29235699

Ok it’s done!
Megatron has been ordered…
EDIT:
He’s here….
Wow he’s incredible. Some of the tolerances are not as good as Optimus, the elbow swivels and the ab crunch, but still totally loving these two!!

Agreed!
I only had enough time to take him out and put some batteries in and even with just that I was super impressed!

Crazy how good this sucker looks even when just in a static pose.
idkwdya
I had just enough time after work to open him up and first impressions are incredible!
Those lights are also really well done!

Huh, makes sense I guess. Threezero has some fantastic packaging. I'm guessing you're more selective about your collection, or else (having double everything) you'd have way too many collectibles to keep track of and store/display.

I leave one sealed. It’s what I’ve been doing. I like the comfort of having a mint, unopened copy.
It also serves as emergency hobby funds. I’ve never seen something that I wanted so bad that I’d sell all my DLX extras, but I presume the day may come.
