Courtesy of 2005 member and French resident transform75 we can share for you our first in-hand images of the new Transformers Kingdom Core Class Megatron.
This figures is part of the new Kingdom Wave 2 Core Class together with Starscream. This is a very nice figure for its size. The mold shows a nice G1-inspired design including his iconic arm blaster. To top it all, Megatron comes with a gun shaped as his G1 alt mode. This weapons can fit in both 3 mm and 5 mm ports for added compatibility with the rest of the War For Cybertron figures. Alt mode is a tank as you should expect these days. We can see a fun and easy transformation which uses his gun as the main cannon in alt mode. We also have comparison shots with several other War For Cybertron figures.

Sometimes good things really DO come in small packages! And to prove it, the Grim Reaper himself has come forth to review the War for Cybertron "Core" class Megatron figure! If you glanced at this and dismissed it based on the photos, you may want to take a closer look in this review, because it's better than you thought! I definitely prefer the Siege head over the ER and this is closer to the Siege one so I like it
Prime Aspect
I actually prefer the Siege/ER voyager headsculpt. I don't like the more cartoony "big face"

That looks cool. The gun megs was missing from my Centurion set (got an extra energon axe)

I mean. The issue isn't Megatron coming with a smaller gun Megatron. That's objectively awesome.
The problem is that the figure is worse off for having the smaller gun Megs. At best, it means the tank's cannon looks like a dinky pistol. At worst, if you give the pistol Megs to anyone else, it means that the tank doesn't have a cannon at all.
I love the idea of size-shifting gunformers having their alt-mode so other figures can use it. The problem is that this figure sacrifices so much for it and at the same time discourages buyers from giving the gun to other figures.
Much as a I hate ER Megatron's stupid turret spear, at least there was no reason for me to give that spear to ER Starscream and completely gimp Megs' transformation.

The rumor concerns another voyager siege megatron repaint in kingdom Netflix . Paint job and confirmation has yet to be given
Mardroid
I know about the Netflix version for the Siege mold, and yes, that looks great.
As I have the Siege version already, I wasn't going to order the same mold again though, especially for a premium price. But yes that's a good option for a metallic looking Megatron.
WereDragon EX
This figure is basically a miniaturized Earthrise Megatron. The feet sticking out the tank treads and part of the treads forming the shoulders/backpack was probably to be expected as a result.

I see no reason to cancel my preorder. he looks good

transform75
exactly, and he does that perfectly

hopefully for the rumored Netflix voyager…?
