Production Weekly, world’s leading production call magazine has posted a brand new listing for Transformers: Beast Alliance.
For those who are unaware, a production call list is a type of classified advertisement where crew can refer and participate in a selection process to work on future TV or Movie production.
On this week’s magazine, Production Weekly officially unveils Transformers: Beast Alliance; which was rumored not too long ago.
Additional details regarding the movie is within a paywall. You need to cough up a minimum of $75 to take a peek. However, owing to the fact that the production is still in its infancy, you may only see an address, a telephone number, and a contact person to schedule the selection process.
But, this news seemingly gives some credibility to the info drop by Illuminerdy.

According to some leaks, The “beast alliance” name is a working title, and cheetor is going to be apart of the movie.

A thought what if the Beast Wars ended in a truce, but they were unable to get off the planet, and the Maximals and Predacons went into hiding becoming cryptids and creatures of myths, legends, and folk tales among humans. Then either (a) a dangerous relic from the war is found in a museum and a mixed team of Maximals and "Good" Predacons (they like Waspinator quit when they had enough of Megatron's BS) team up to steal it before Tarantulas/Megatron can get it.
Or (b) something from their war that could reveal their presence to the humans/G1 characters is found at a museum and again a cross-factional team get together to steal it before its discovered by the Autobots or Decepticons.

I just checked the account, it kind of feels a bit sketchy to me because the account doesn’t follow Steven caple jr or any of the actors that have been cast.

Interesting. Let's keep an eye.

Isn't "Beast Alliance" just the working title? It seems unlikely they'd set up social media pages for that.

Could go either way at this point. It isn't unheard of for authentic social media accounts to pop up on the down-low a bit ahead of official announcements. It's also an easy way to make a fake leak. We'll just have to wait and see.
If it's real, we should hear something soon.

This appears to be a fan account with a link to Paramount to make it appear more "authentic".

It would be funny if we had a cast of like 8 Autobots and 5 Decepticons as a reverse of the first Michael Bay Transformers of 5 Autobots and 8 Decepticons.

How did that happen? I clicked on the RED thread… Thanks.

Wrong thread, you're probably looking for this one

I don't know why this popped into my head, but I just realized if the working title is Beast Alliance, what if it's a spin on the old "Call of the Primitives" episode? G1 characters that all have animal alt modes are called to help with something. That might almost make sense.

This. There's no reason why every TF film theatrical or otherwise has to stick to either one tone or another. Franchises like Godzilla, TMNT, and Batman have proven that can have a mixture of both dark and light hearted stories existing with one another. No reason why it can't be the same for Transformers.

I’d say a mix is good. Make some lighthearted movies or more standard tone movies and then have a one off style movie that ends up being a darker tone. If you can do rogue one and kill everyone off, or Joker where it goes full on nuts, I want to see something semi similar to last stand of the wreckers.

I prefer a more serious approach to transformers.

Something I want to personally clarify, as I don't think I made it very clear earlier: the word "lore" was never spoken to me, and from my knowledge of the film industry, I don't think Paramount execs were tossing that word around either. I just wanted to emphasize that the old way of approaching new stories was to begin with an idea–whether it was an idea found in a reference book or something like that–whereas now almost every starting point is character-based. Sorry if I caused confusion.
I absolutely understand that worry. That is why I have avoided anything too specific. I have received permission from my "sources" to post what I have thus far.
